My boyfriend and I visited this place for breakfast, it was such a lovely experience, staff was really nice and the food was amazing! Drinks and food were fresh and the location was comfortable and looked beautiful 10/10 definitely recommended this place!

Very disappointing and expensive smashed avo on sourdough. They couldn't have got the bread any thinner if they tried, just a small amount of avo, hardly any cheese and the dressing was just weird! Went to let the manager/owner know but she didn't seem interested in feedback, hence why I'm reviewing here. Had she apologised and acknowledged my concerns I’d have walked away satisfied that they care about their customers.

Very pleasant staff and service.The breakfasts were quite well made. Gypsy Eggs (a spin on Shakshuka) has a sweeter gravy with a little bit of vinegar, my wife had the vegetarian, it would probably be better with the chorizo.I had the eggs benedict with bacon which was cooked well, served on English muffin. The Hollandaise sauce has a bit of sweetness to it which is pleasant.Unfortunately all the tables were wiped with a cloth which had a strong egg smell which was a bit nauseating.My wife had a decaf mocha which had a level of chocolate which was not overpowering the coffee however the milk temperature was a bit too high to drink.The macchiato I ordered was a bit under-extracted. It might be that the barista was still dialling in the beans. I think both could be improved with an upgraded grinder and dialling in espresso just before the morning crowd.Otherwise quite a pleasant cafe and some pleasant music.

Had some toasties and they were decent. The chips were really good!At least the barista was cute! And he really knows how to make coffee, it was delicious and properly prepared, didn't burn the oat milk

This is my favourite café in Albany.Food options in Albany generally are not the best, but when my family and I went here for the first time recently - we were refreshingly surprised!!You can taste the freshness of the food! A great number of options for eating - something for everyone. I absolutely love their Smashed Avo - it has a beautiful mix of seeds as well as pumpkin on it too!My family member loves coffee and has said it is the best coffee in town

Great place for breakfast in Albany. I had the eggs your way (full) with a half serve of bacon and my partner the pancakes. The scrambled eggs are really really good and the pancakes where also good! Generous servings and good atmosphere. I can really recommend Frederick's for a good breakfast in Albany! ⭐
