Ari was very professional and efficient in the way he recovered all the data in my external hard drive. He explained the recovery process and the time it will take to complete the job. He ended up completing the job in less than the time he quoted. Very happy with the service and highly recommend him.

I required a data recovery service for a 1TB hard drive (half full) that had suddenly become corrupted. My drive was dropped off to Ari on 9th April for a personalised quote. I heard nothing until I followed up with a call on 14th April. I was advised that I two options - an intense recovery effort @ $1100 where 100% of my data would be retrieved and a low intense recovery effort @ $770 where there was a chance only 80% of my data would be retrieved. I naturally opted for the full recovery option at full cost which was paid upon collection of the drive. A few days after pick up I noticed that 32GB of photos were missing which I advised Ari of by email on 6th May. I hadn’t received a response a week later so I followed up again on 15th May. Ari advised he would run a further scan of the copied-over data to see if the information could be retrieved. I waited, and waited...7 weeks later I followed up again on 1st July. I was advised that they were waiting on a new software update which would be implemented in a week, after which a new scan would be conducted and I would be notified of the outcome. Again I waited and waited... and followed up again on 2nd August (9 weeks later). No response so I followed up again on 15th August this time making my frustrations known around the lack of communication about my missing data. Ari advised that he had run scans and not been able to retrieve my missing data but would run one last scan and let me know the result. Ultimately, after some false hope, the missing 32GB of photos could not be retrieved and Ari provided me with a partial refund off the original amount ($330). I appreciate that there are glitches and not all data can be retrieved 100% of the time – however the communication around how this matter was handled and my constant need to follow up and move the process along was quite frustrating. This was a process that needlessly took over 4 months and could have definitely been managed better by the service provider hence the 2* review.

Not only is Ari a total professional, but a kind person who went above and beyond the job submitted.Total Data Recall exceeded any expectation or hope I could have had in saving 100 percent of my data in the exact format of my computer’s hard drive. Ari even helped me answer some questions in the following week as I’ve had some frustrating (unrelated) issues with my other computer and I was at the end of my rope and desperately wanting to just continue my work.Cannot thank or recommend enough

I had a hard drive with important family pictures and files that died on me 2 months ago. Went over to Total Data Recall and spoke to Ari regarding the situation, he was very transparent about the process, costs and updated me on the progress of recovering the drive. Unfortunately the drive was not fully recoverable, however he was able to walk me through the recoverable data and was patient when I requested to know which folders and directories were still intact. I was able to recover the pictures and files I was initially after and the backup arrived the next day!Absolutely recommend Ari and his services, I had a lot of doubts when looking for a service to recover my hard drive but Total Data Recall pulled through exceptionally with the utmost professionalism.

Still in the process of recovery, but either way I want to acknowledge the tremendous effort and gruelling hours that Ari has put into my damaged hard drives. 4 x other companies failed to even get one of my drives running to clone, which he has succeeded in doing. He easily turned the job away given the complexity, but he offered to help knowing how much stress this has caused me and my business. When your data (you think is bullet proof) isn't, and the heads go during a back up the stress and pain is beyond description! Ari and the team not only rescued the data, they treat you in a calm, helpful and personal manner. They are positive, but honest. They saved my 8 terabyte of data, yes it took time, because it was done properly, yes it wasn't cheap because it takes skill and effort. Honestly I can whole heartedly recommend them and whilst I hope never to need their services again, I have to say they would be my first call if a drive dies again.
