I took my car for a rego check at the last minute. when returning to pick up my car which is only 8yrs old and serviced every 10,000 kl I was told about an oil leak, which he said he would ignore but only as I had other problems which were, suspension front nearside rule, and suspension front offside rule, and windscreen wipers. He quoted me over $600 and I was pressured to have them done. He want me to bring it back on the Monday.. Their was something not right after he continually question me on whether I had taken the car somewhere else before him for a check. I left and made an appointment with A1 suspension. I was shocked when they called me to say the only thing wrong was the windscreen wipers. they new my situation and could have also tried to rip me off but they didn't.. DON'T GO THERE !! you will be sorry. and it might only be their rego checks as I can see they are definitely ripping off in that area due to other reviews. but scammer shouldn't get to have anyone's hard earn money.

I know a little bit about cars and have been to many dealers over the years. I'd rather talk to the actual mechanic at Brenlee than drop it off unseen to some dealer's shiny showroom, where what actually happens to the car is a mystery.These guys are old-fashioned - they know their stuff, they're not interested in ripping people off, and they do what they say they will do.I notice the 2 negative reviews are from people who failed rego checks; if you want to get dodgy vehicles past rego, I'd suggest taking it elsewhere. If you want your vehicle serviced/fixed at a reasonable price, take it to these guys.

The owner of this business Ken is an absolute nightmare. I brought an old van in for a roadworthy and got the absolute run around. He charged $150 for the first one. Then $250 for the second. He then tried to knock the car back a third time to charge me even more which I was only able to get out of because I had another mechanic talk with him.Ask any other mechanic in town. This bloke is a known swindler. I just drove into the wrong business cause I was in an area I wasn't familiar with. You know there is something wrong with a man when he is telling you stories about how he is a victim of his own employees who always quit and ask for too much money. Should have been a red flag immediately.Oh well! You live and you learn! I should have just looked at his google reviews. He is actually the lowest rated in town.

Had the worst rego renewal experience ever picked everything possible so they could hit me up for some repair bill that they thought they were going to get.Took it elsewhere.

Great team of mechanics at BrenLee. I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else. Friendly staff & spot on with work completion time & quoted price. Value for money and expert mechanical knowledge.

Ken took the stress out of getting a new starter motor put into my precious piece of wheel-estate. RACQ and NRMA got my '93 Toyota campervan towed from the Chinderah Tavern (NSW) where it had broken down to Tweed Heads where Ken wasted no time sourcing parts for it. My good friend, Barb, provided transport and a nice warm place to sleep for the night until I could pick my home on wheels back up the next day. I was so impressed with Brenlee Motors service and efficiency that I've promised to choose them for all my future servicing needs.
