Baldry Crossing Picnic Area
Great walking track, a little hilly but beautiful scenery. The section with the creek has some nice stepping stones across for a little picnic spot. Took just over an hour at easy walking pace.

It was a slightly challenging walk but got the heart pumping at times. Beautiful walk through fern gullies, lush forests, flowing stream and bush terrain. Saw kangaroos and wallabies. Much bird life too. Short 5km figure 8 loop. Part of the larger Two Bays Trail. .

From Baldrys Picnic Spot area, cross across the road and walk along the creek to start a really great walk to Bushrangers carpark, about 2 hours and then if you like another 2 hours plus minus to Cape Schanck. This po art is really nice as you will go through Banksia forest and have great coastal views.Enjoy

Baldry Crossing Picnic Area
A beautiful roadside picnic area with a table, somewhere to park the car and a public holding yard to fence your horses while you relax. There's no public toilet and I don't remember seeing the little hot plate for bbq, which used to be there. (Maybe I overlooked it.) There's a river at one end of the car park and across the road a decent walk alongside the river, into Green's Bush. I'm easily disoriented, but take note of where you're going when there's another track that joins the one you're on. Don't venture of the track because there is a fungus that Parks are trying to control and it spreads from the bottom of our shoes when we step on the invisible spores, which are off the track. Points of interest are on the big noticeboard near the start of the walk - this is the last remaining natural bushland on the mornington Peninsula.

Pleasant walk in the bush. Using the marked out walking trail as well as the management tracks to the west, you can make round trips from about 2km to 10km. The longer walk goes along a creek, across fern covered old farming areas, through a deep gully and back.

While driving along Baldrys Rd for the first time a couple of weeks ago I made a mental note to return soon for a look, searching for photography opportunities and I popped in today scouting about for photo shots. I'll be back very soon, and again many times
