Australia Post - Coffin Bay LPO

What a service. So I purchased some book for my wife for mothers day from the kids - We are currently travelling so organised it to be delivered to Coffin Bay Post Office in South Australia. Sounds straight forward doesnt it? well no, the sender was late dispatching the parcel. Australia Post was slow moving it from Sydney. We were going to miss the parcel.... The amazing owner of this post office came to my recuse. she helped me organise to have my parcel forwarded a couple stops up the road (into western Australia) and would make sure it was forwarded as soon as it arrived.Not only did she help me but gave my little one a free Freddo frog whilst in store. So today we finally were able to collect the parcel, well ill be dammed, not only was it delivered as requested she had managed to slip an extra couple freddo's into the package.As a small business owner she should be commended for going above and beyond to help someone, if your ever in the area you should definitley drop in and say g'day.

Can't recommend the small but wonderful Coffin Bay LPO enough. I started an online business in 2018 and Fi was so helpful. Nearly all my dispatch was through Coffin Bay LPO and she was part of my success. I sold all over the world via Etsy - Flying Fox Fabrics is my store. Often I'd arrive at the last minute with urgent parcels. She was always kind and went out of her way to make things work for me.As well as postal services, the LPO carries a fantastic mix of affordable, quality gifts. In a small town a good Post Office is invaluable. Fi is also community minded and has organised fundraising for the pontoon, started initiatives like the Grow Free table - great for leaving my surplus produce to share with others. I left in 2021 to open a business in Darwin but still visit whenever back in Coffins and pick up some goodies.Fi is also great with advice and support for tourists - drop in and see her if you are visiting.
