Management must of changed. Visited with (myself only) 2 small kids both under 12. Ordered a 4 person platter for $120 + other dishes. Total cost over $150 and left hungry. I feel they size up the audience and serve what they think they can get away with. Service was rude at times. Been a regular customer till now, but left extremely disappointed.

In the age of social media, we haven't even taken a single photo… do you know why? because the food was so tempting that you can't waste your time. Amazing food and really very nice and friendly service (although we had a lively little one). We will definitely be back.

“Pedestrian but open,” was how my dining companion described K-Town Korean BBQ House Neutral Bay. We were dining in that difficult period between the last week of December and the first week of January where many restaurants take a break to rest their staff. Despite the “kimchi days, soju nights” neon, during daylight hours the restaurant is pretty empty. The high plywood booths and dark bricks illuminated with a red glow give it a cave-like feel that probably lends itself better to nights.By day the barbecue grills look like they’ve seen better days, so we opt for Korean street food in the form of spicy cheese tteokbokki ($19). The chewy rice cakes in a gentle red sauce with melted cheese summon childhood memories of canned spaghetti. A half serve of extra hot boneless Korean fried chicken ($28) smacks you in the face with sweetness that sits over serious creeping heat. It grew on me over the course of the meal punctuated by deep dives into a glass of on-tap Cass ($13) to put out the fire. The dish I enjoyed the most was a simple stir fry of spicy pork bulgogi, tofu and kimchi ($26). The gochujang-marinated pork was tasty and enjoyable against the cool white slabs of tofu. Service was by buzzer demand, which felt slow to me, but may have been a public holiday cost saving measure.

The food is pretty average but that's to be expected from a restaurant of that calibre, however the service was pretty bad. My wife and I didn't know what to order so we pointed to the pictures of the food, only to have the waitress say I have no idea

Have been here a few times now and am never disappointed. Food is delicious and they provide free refills for the sides! Have yet to use the BBQ but keen to try for next time. Service is always super fast and friendly. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic Korean BBQ. Great for groups. Cook your own steak. Pancakes as a side order are a must- best I’ve had! Friendly staff and good service. Indoor, outdoor and upstairs seating. Full bar. Recommended!
