St Lawrence Gas station

Linda was awesome and helped me out with everything we needed. Fresh produce ready to go. Happy to let me take money out, happy to give me $1 coins for the showers down the road no questions asked. I classic general store with any and all things you might need (including petrol) to stay out this way for a week or two. Will definitely be back to support this iconic general store! Thank you!

Filled a full tank of unleaded petrol and somehow went through it within an hour and a half of highway driving. Wouldn’t recommend as a precaution, unless absolutely necessary to fill up.

Great little general store, cold drinks, good fresh takeaways, grocery lines. Open 7 days 7am to 5pm Mon to Friday, 7am to 1pm Sat and Sun. Fuel unleaded and diesel only. Try the homemade preserves, absolutely lovely.

We were almost out of diesel and really worried we would not make it, the place wouldn't be open and no diesel available, but we just made it, it was open, they had diesel and took efptos, it was great! It was Saturday and we arrived before 1pm. I recommend.

Amazing little store, very friendly lady. I stayed in the little town for a week from company work, had every single meal for a week from this store. The meals are fresh and tasty. 100% recommend.

What a great hidden spot. As I was REALLY low on fuel my GPS took me through the flood plains as I was praying not to run out. My gauge was empty the on board computer was 0 and it made an extra 5.5klms with cheap fuel and a really friendly lady who only charges $20 if you need a call out at all hours. Great hidden spot

Very old style gas station with single pump that was locked when we got there and it was 4 in the afternoon on Saturday. We went round the back of the convenience store to see if anyone was around - it was a ghost town. I was sure the rapture had happened. A very kind lady at the pub said she could call someone out but they might charge us. We reckoned one of the few men that were in that pub might have a jerry can of fuel... But they just talked amongst themselves.The fuel light had been on for a while and we knew we wouldn't get very far before breaking down so we decided to accept that.The lady turned up and somewhat reluctantly unlocked the single fuel pump. No mention of the charge so we didn't mention it, as advised by the lady at the pub.So it might be best pushing forward and trying to get to the next major gas station. I imagine we'll be the talk of the town for a while.

Amazing! This gas station saved our trip and we were kindly welcomed by the attendant in the store. It was also a good stop in the quiet St Lawrence.

Absolutely disgraceful to make money from others misfortunes. Travelled down the highway when the petrol light came on. Googled this petrol station which said it was open until 6pm. Arrived 5.50pm with no signs of anyone around. Rang the ‘after hours’ number & was told someone could come out & turn the bowser on but it would cost $35 for a call out fee. Had no choice but to pay it. So called owner turned up within minutes (such an inconvenience considering she only lived up the road). She took our money but she did give us a complimentary lecture to watch the fuel gauge!! Absolute rip-off considering the website said the place was open. Word from the friendly locals say she does it all the time.

This is place should be heritage listed. It's old school with the pump on the footpath. I almost drove past it. Ice little town, take a look.
