Darkes Forest Riding Ranch

After several months of rain my daughter and I finally got to do the breakfast trail and wow! The customer service was exceptional, from rescheduling and booking the trail (she was wonderful) to the ladies who took us out on the trail to the person who cooked and served out breakfast. The team were happy, accomodating and generous. The horses were beautiful and such gorgeous scenery on the trail. I recommend you book Darkes Forest Riding Ranch. I’ll definitely be back for more.

If I could give more stars, I would have. Beautiful day out on my daughter's second ever ride. She is nearly 3 and did a very safe, 30min lead ride with a highly capable young lady leading the pony. From booking to the ride itself the team were effortlessly welcoming, professional and relaxed. My daughter's pony Bobby had a lovely nature and all the horses were beautiful and in exceptional health. For city people this was a great way to spend a morning in the country. They even do coffee and food. Our family were very grateful for the experience.

My 6 year old had the most amazing experience today on a pony ride with Bobby and Lilly, the horses are always so well looked after and the trainers and staff are lovely.. Thankyou again guys!

A friendly and very serene horse riding ranch to come and visit with the family. My daughter absolutely loved the pony ride and I'm due for another trail ride next visit!

Headed to darkes forest ranch for the first time this week and was super excited to give it a go as we have tried a few trail rides at other places. Paid $130 for one hour trail and normally pay $140 for 2 hour trail rides at other places but was happy to try it out.We were welcomed by a lovely women who signed us up and gave us forms. We got onto our horses but for the hour long trail ride we were hardly spoken to or asked any questions, we tried to make conversation with our guides but they didn’t seem interested. Both of us being beginners and keen to learn some new things, we didn’t get that at all unfortunately. Once finished, hoping to get more of an experience once off the horse like feeding them, or grooming them before they are put back, but nothing happen, we hoped off, gave them a pat and then were said goodbye to!Wouldn’t say it lived up to the hype unfortunately. Seems as though it’s more catered towards kids or more advanced riders as we were 2 21yr old beginners.Wasn’t at all worth the $130 and Unfortunately won’t be coming back :(

Verry friendly staff.With experience trainer .Love horse riding in Boosh.Verry big place for parking and table for food .Cafe inside.You can grab your food and eat .Verry nice place for picnic for all adge people.Nearest lot off things to do.
