My Buddy Gard

I purchased this watch for my piece of mind, for my husband, he has a medical condition.The first watch they sent, they couldn’t configure. This was after being on a zoom meeting with them for almost an hour. They said the watch must be faulty and they would send me another one. Another zoom meeting was arranged. I spent an hour on that zoom meeting, and again the watch turned out to be faulty. This watch was purchased as a safety device and peace of mind for my husbands care, and it is absolutely useless. I find it difficult to believe that the NDIS promotes this device. The SIM card was also purchased from My Buddy Gard, on a monthly plan, apparently they use Telstra.

The session I had with a My Buddy Gard team member was very informative and helpful. It may be daunting and confusing to navigate gadgets that involve technology. The team member was very friendly and was able to help set up the gadget and answered all questions that I asked.

I would recommend My Buddy Gard to anyone that is concerned about loved ones whereabouts. Erika, Simon and the team couldn't be more helpful. If you have problems they are there to help. I am so grateful for My Buddy Gard.

The optional extra Locking security clasp, on wrist strap is worth the extra expense as our autistic grandson tried to take it off almost immediately.We would have given five stars, but we were disappointed to find the lost feature with audible alarm is not yet available for version 2. It was one of the features that contributed to us choosing Buddy Gard. A great feature if he is hiding or lost in a crowd. We were advised the updated software is due to be released by the end of November.

I can't speak highly enough about the team at My Buddy Gard.Firstly ordering the watch for a dementia patient in Aged Care was a breeze.Secondly the team went out of their way with zoom meetings to assist us in setting up the watch for use. Special thanks to Lou for her patience and understanding.Thirdly, we were faced with a sad situation of being told by the Aged Care facility that our patient would need to be moved into the Memory Support unit and would no longer be able to go out alone. This meant the watch could not be used. My Buddy Gard refunded us on return of the watch which was unused and still in the box.This type of service and empathy is rare in this day and age of firm Terms and Conditions. Thank you to simon and the my buddy gard team for helping me set up the adult watch for my elderly father.I got this watch for my father to ease my mind for when im at work or away. And it is amazing. So simple and easy to use for older people. I love that i can access it remotely to make sure he is ok.Huge thank you for creating something for the elderly and people with disabilities.Highly recommended

Very affordable GPS watch provider unlike the Apple Watch which is like 3-4x more expensive. They have a fantastic support and easy to follow instructions online of how to use my Buddy Watch. Will definitely recommend My Buddy Gard to my friends, family and colleagues.

I have not been able to leave my house alone since being attacked a few years ago. The guidance and set up can be easy even for those who are not tech savy, help is only an appointment away, you will get all the help you need to get you started.I feel I have a secret weapon that's able to send out help whether I accidentally fall, as I also have a walking frame which can be a major challenge to grab my phone when falls happen.
