Amazing staff, compassion and commitment ooze out of them. Facilities are exceptionally clean, animals all looked loved and attended to. My daughter adopted her first fur baby today (19yrs) and it was a wonderful experience for her. They allowed her to spend time with three cats before choosing her forever fur baby. At no point did we feel rushed or co-erced. All history about the cat was evident and shared so informed decisions could be made. I would highly recommend this centre. Gorgeous human beings looking after amazing animals.

About 3 weeks ago we adopted a kitten and she has been a delight; playful and affectionate; growing up fast. Before adopting Charlie, the staff were helpful and happy to answer questions and explain the process in detail. Thank you!

Great shelter for the animals and a really good cafe for the public. I volunteer as a reptile photographer and love how everything is so well cared for and respected.l

Super friendly service at both the front desk and in the pet supplies department. Adopted a kitten here a week ago and they were able to provide me all the information I needed and the kitten has since settled in well. Very clean place and well treated animals.

Our much loved pet cockatoo, Louie free flies some afternoons, we live on acreage area in Burbank. We do not cut Louies wings as it places further stress on him and he always returns home when we call out to him. A kind neighbour passing by our property thinking he was lost took Louie to Underwood 24 hour Vet. Sadly this vet didn't carry out their due diligence and call me as Louie is microchipped and wears a band, instead caused further grief and had him transported to the RSPCA!! Neither of these services called me and I lost a days work hunting the area causing 2 sleepless nights. Eventually because of facebook sources displaying the C.A.R registration I contacted the RSPCA who confirmed Louie was there, we then had to endure a further 7 gruelling hours yesterday before we were allowed to collect him!. Louie started plucking his feathers 5 years ago due to anxiety when I am away for work. Sadly, he has been treated as an abused bird by both the vet and the RSPCA. He was dehydrated due to the trauma of being taken and spending the night at Underwood Vet. Why?? why?? if a cockatoo displays this common plucking behaviour did you not call the owner but rather cause further grief to both the cockatoo and owners?? Where is your due diligence? Where is your empathy? Furthermore we now have to justify to the RSPCA that our beautifully loved and cared for baby has been treated for plucking. He has been under the care of the best avarian bird vet in Australia!! Adrian Gallagher, Brisbane Bird Vet!

Called to check if anybody had lost a pet bird as I’ve never seen one at my house before as it may of been a lost pet…A Pale-headed Rosella…it was a rare sight and they gave amazing advice. I have natural wildlife sanctuary in my yard and they gave me perfect advice about them. Name it they pop in other than koala’s anymore as people ignore the signs and drive down the street like it’s a raceway. Every year I had koalas and joeys until ignorant people run over animals. I wish I had their plates…Snakes, Green tree frogs, Lizards, Insects to Eagles. Grateful for the advice making sure the bird was not domesticated which would of died on the wild. PLEASE CALL IF YOU THINK AN ANIMAL IS DOMESTICATED AS PEOPLE HAVE THEM MICROCHIPPED RATHER THAN IGNORING SOMETHING YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN.

Staff are very attentive and the animals are all well looked after. Everything is clean and the animals always have plenty of food, water, toys and clean litter. I've seen staff giving the animals hugs and they seem to generally care about all of the animals. It's really beautiful to see.

A beautiful clean living space for these animals. Interactive space for the kittens , food facilities toilets etc. Lots of viewing rooms with all the dogs, guinea pigs, mice cats n puppies.I did walk out feeling sad though as these animals deserve forever homes. I even spun a copper coin to keep the memory.

Visited 3 days in a row, attempting to adopt a cat. Day 1: Need to apply online, do that come back tomorrow. Day 2: Apparently written permission from the property owner is not sufficient, they need it from the body corporate as well. Day 3: It seems an email from the body corporate secretary is insufficient, needs to be on letterhead. Kafkaesque. Gave up and adopted a rescue cat from the local vet instead, no jumping through hoops required.

Amazing staff very committed to the animals in their care.i adopted a beautiful little dog named Bouncer he was very scared for the first 2weeks and wouldn't come to me and hid behind the sofa, the staff when I rang for advice were wonderful.Ongoing support is given and was very much appreciated.Bouncer still keeps in touch with these amazing people, and today he is a confident happy, free and healthy dog and part of my family due to their intervention. I now donated regularly to the RSPCA to help other animals find love.
