One of the best RTOs I have yet come across;As someone who has been madly upskilling in preparation for entering the civil construction industry in 2019, I have over the past several months engaged with several training organisations in order to acquire relevant certification and tickets.Of these RTOs, ATS has been the most professional, the most informative, and have given me access to the most resources.The theory component delivered by Garry has been consistently punctuated by stories and anecdotes from his many years in the rail industry, serving to richly illustrate the course material. This not only aids in understanding and information retention but serves to further familiarize us with the rail industry more so than the course material alone could, and drives home the realities and dangers of the workforce we will be entering.The practical components of the course have exploited the company’s large purpose-designed instructional areas which mimic several types of rail sites and the students have been given operational instruction on a wide range of hand and power tools of the trade.There have been one or two administrative hiccoughs but Garry has worked diligently to overcome these and was noticeably upset that these circumstances outside his control should in any way inconvenience the students or reflect on the professionalism of ATS.It is my opinion that ATS deliver far above the standard of professionalism, resourcefulness, and instruction than I have experienced at and other RTO and I highly recommend engaging their services if you are interested in a career within the rail industry.
