What a gem......hidden away. Goes by Simon's Cafe.This guy is amazingly patient and efficient. Great sense of humour.He can make vanilla slice (to die for) while serving customers coffee and groceries. Now that requires skill given there were about 8 people to be served.Home-made Rye bread.....yum!Honestly, people who bag this guy need to place their comments elsewhere.This guy is just trying to make a living and a negative attitude from customers because THEY may not be having a great day, does not help.Keep up the good work, and we wish you well in your endeavour

Good quality fruit and vegetables, better than IGA. Unfortunately the owner is grumpy and will respond in a condescending, short impatient manner. There are Christian messages throughout the shop, but his manner is anything but Christian. I would have given 4 stars if it wasn't for the rude service.

Can t recommend it enough! Think the real name is Simon’s cafe food or something like that, still same spot! Assuming mythe owner is Simon, then he is a lovely guy! Good coffee and very well priced groceries shop! Produce are tastier and cheaper than IGA. Grapefruits were $2.99/kg instead of $8/kg at IGA! Go support local! I definitely stop and shop again on my way back to Perth!

Great value for money and flat head fish and chips was very tasty. Owner was very friendly even got a free sample of a slice, and bought some of the television famous vanilla slice. Owner is just a bloke trying to make a living give him a shot I reckon.

Cute little shop. We stopped there for a fish and chips (big enough for 2 people) and ended up going out with one of the best Vanilla slice of Australia. Simon is lovely and gave us many recommendations for visiting fitzgerald River national park!

We were greeted with nothing but quality fresh produce and customer service that you couldn’t fault. And it didn’t stop there. With a shining recommendation about Simon’s vanilla slice from other campers who had returned since for a second share, we couldn’t help but be intrigued. Upon buying the slice we were also made aware that the slice was amongst the top 3 in Australia and this fact had been televised. After trying the slice it’s not hard to see why. Highly recommend. When in Hopetoun, treat yourself. You won’t regret it.

I've had breakfast here a few times and it's very good. The pizzas for lunch are outlandish.. they make their own sourdough bases and the toppings are great.

Such a surprising shop, cheap fresh fruit and veggies, delicious pastries. The vanilla slice was one of the best I've had. The Snapper and chips for $15 was huge, perfectly cooked and excellent value. Might have to have the flathead tomorrow. Coming back anyway to buy some groceries.
