The place is just spotless!!! So clean, small but warm and together with the food makes you feel cosy and sort of home-like.We had kimchi soup, bibimbap and corn cheese. I highly recommend the corn cheese to everyone, it’s cheesy, corny as usual but just enough to not make you feel too much after 2-3 spoons. Can’t say enough about it.Make sure you got your bibimbap in a stone pot to have the experience of mixing things in while it’s sizzling hot. The kimchi soup is spicy, and as we are not Koreans, we don’t know if it’s intended or not, but my partner loves it.All in all, it’s a great place to go for Korean food in Camberwell! We have had their chickens before and they really nailed it. Oh yeah and the free complimentary, I haven’t gone through them as fast as I did here. Enjoyyyy!

So very casual, small & informal establishment serving up a variety of homestyle-like Korean dishes: presentation-wise uneventful; flavour-wise not enough intensity, spiciness, pungency & needless to say, the experience does not create a lasting impression.

Really cozy place to eat really nice Korean food! The fried chicken is the highlight of my meal and would definitely be coming here multiple times. Also the customer service was fantastic explaining the dishes.

The corn cheese and the seafood pancake were the highlight. I think the spicy jokbal tastes better than the original, wish they had another flavour like honey soy or something for the jokbal. The fried chicken was good, not amazing though. Overall we enjoyed our meal and left satisfied.

Very flavoursome food, good portions, nice clean space and friendly staff. A little on the pricy side though. Would be great if they offered lunch specials. They do offer love though as a special which I found interesting.

Update****Came and ate in after getting take away many times. The food was very tasty. We ate the Deep fried octopus, Chicken with sweet chilli sauce, beef casserole and pork belly pancake. Service was quick and friendly. Feels like eating in a typical Korean cafe in a K-drama.Haven’t had a chance to dine in yet, due to COVID-19 restrictions, but have tried their take away menu. The food is hearty, tasty and spicy Korean food. The spring onion soy fried chicken and the spicy pork bulgogi were a stand out.

I recently tried the Soy Spring Onion Boneless Chicken and Spicy Jokbal meal at Chicken & Jokbal and the meal was amazing! First time ever to try out soy spring onion flavour when having Korean fried chicken and it turned out to be a very nice combination. The Spicy Jokbal was also very flavorful. Serving was just perfect for 2 people. The restaurant is also generous with veggies. Salad is very well mixed.
