Mall Music

Whilst the store has a great selection. Went in today and stood around for someone to assist me but nobody did after 10min. Staff seem a bit too cool to help.Update of my original review from 2 star.Went in today spoke with nirvana he was amazing and took his time educating me and guiding me on what guitar I should get.

So unprofessional.What they say over the phone and in the store is different!Should train staff to say the right thing to customers.

Great service by friendly, knowledgeable staff.We bought for our child a DXP junior 3-piece drum kit and the transaction was quick, smooth and informative. Clearly, this is for a child that's beginning to learn a musical instrument and we weren't pushed into buying instruments, sets/kits outside of what's needed for the time being.Prices are quite reasonable, and they do price match.Highly recommended for all musical levels.

Felt undermined, the worker was really arrogant and rude. Shutdown anything I had to say and was boasting about his knowledge on the topic.

Very rude behaviour by staff. Went to look for a sax for my daughter. They wouldn’t even listen, literally shooed us away saying they’re closing in a few minutes. Understand it was closing time but could have been courteous and polite.

Mall Music has a great range of musical instruments and accessories in a big shop that's ideal for browsing and trying out the different options before you buy. I wanted some advice on acoustic guitar strings and found the staff to be attentive and knowledgeable. The only problem was trying to decide between the two high quality brands of strings they suggested! (I'll try the other brand next time...). It was well worth the long drive across Sydney to be able to get such helpful advice and see all the available choices. Highly recommended.

Located in Macquarie Centre, very convenient and parking on the open air level right outside the Mall Music shop!Was popping in just to get a Ukulele for my daughter. The staff was friendly and taught hey how to tune the instrument.The seems well stocked for many instruments, piano, guitar, wind instruments too.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They had what I wanted and offered stuff I didn't know was an option. All in all, great music store.

Great people working here. Very helpful and friendly. I appreciated the time to show my nephew, a budding saxophonist, a demo of what he's in for. Also I couldn't walk past the cowbell and not take a photo. IYKYK.

First of all, thanks to the team at Mall Music at Macquarie Park.I was there to purchase a new BOSS Cube street II amplifier, on the pick up day, Graeme was knowledgeable and spend sometime with me to get everything in order to make sure everything will work fine. Thank you very much and it was much appreciated. Took it home and tried it out with a guitar and microphone, 2 issues I found. 1 is I can't really hear the mic and guitar simultaneously and thought something was wrong or some settings needed to be adjust. 2nd issue was the bluetooth connection, it was connected successfully but there was no audio output to the amp. So I took it back a few days later and met with Graeme again, again Graeme spent sometimes and helped me. Turns out the 1st issue was merely that I didn't turn the volume high enough. That was embarrasing. Then we tested the 2nd issue, it still didn't work. However, Graeme tried to connect to his phone and it worked right away. So we were thinking it might be some kind of issue with my phone. So I took it back home, tried with other phones at home, but it still didn't work. I was puzzled. The next day I returned again and met with Nirvana who advised me to contact the Roland Specialist at Mall Music Brookvale branch. I called them and spoken to them about my problem and they were happy to provide assistant without appointments. So I will be bringing it in next week and see if they will be able help me resolve this . At the end, my experience with Mall music Macquarie Centre staff was excellent! Highly recommend for a visit to the store for musical instruments.
