I recently acquired a second hand bike that needed repairs to the gearing system. After a google search for a bike repairer I selected The Local Spokesman after reading their reviews. I took the bike unannounced to Kyle, who was prepared to look at it immediately. (Another place quoted 3 weeks before they would look at it.) A very reasonable price was quoted and Kyle said it would be ready the next day. I picked it up this morning happy with the result. I would certainly recommend The Local Spokesman Thanks Kyle

First thing I thought was what a good business name, fortunately the service and professionalism matched the brand. The Local Spokesman owner Kyle, provided outstanding service with convenient bike pick-up/assessment and next day return. He also provided immediate onsite after-care for a small issue that occurred. Both times he was prompt, an avid communicator and used his experience to resolve all issues. Absolutely recommend them for repeat bike services.

Glad to have found my local bike mechanic! These guys were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, organised, and up front about any work being done. I recently brought in my mountain bike and they were able to fix my rear suspension (something I thought I would have to ship over East to fix). It was easy to book in for the service by calling or messaging. During the service, they sent through a link to a checklist of suggested work to be done so that I could see the costs for each part and associated labour, and then confirm what I wanted done on the bike. Brilliant!
