I got a dress altered last week - I wanted to have it taken in at the sides under the arms so it wasn’t so baggy, but Rowena’s advice was that it would make the dress too tight at the armpits. Very wise - so instead she suggested we move the belted sections up the waist a little, so that when tied, they would bring the dress in & make it less baggy. It was the perfect solution. Very pleased with it & for $30 I felt it was a reasonable job. They were busy but agreed to push my job through as an urgent one which again was much appreciated. Nice big space at the top of Oxford St after the markets next to the Church.

Beware!! Took a pair of jeans in to be hemmed. They cut them way too short, despite my instructions, and when I took them back in to complain they tried to charge me more money to fix them. Don’t bother and take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of other places that do far better work with better service.
