Woolworths Humpty Doo

Shopping at H/Doo Woolies yesterday (18/11, had shopped there for last 17yrs) was nothing more than painful to say the least, there was a staff member who seemed only in having her voice heard regardless/zero care for customers (Deli/Meat/Bread area?), calling other staff members from near the Deli/Ice Cream sec who were up in the bread section, talked/intervened whilst I was trying to order from the deli counter (all the while jabbering about herself), got a number of staff together for some sort of excercise at the ice cream area, zero consideration for customers by doing it in that space all the while being loud (this was the calling them from icecream area, bought it from another shop, along with the rest of my shopping) and all the while appeared to be nothing more than a desruptive influence to shoppers and staff alike, dont know her role but I wouldnt work around her, absolutely ZERO people skills at all, pity her work colleagues. Gauging by the way the shop was looking she would have been better off actually doing something productive (stack shelves or away from customers) as opposed to being desruptive. What a pity.

Humpty Doo shopping centre is an old building and was built to cater for the population of the time. The population has increased dramatically. Parking would have to be the major problem not designed for the amount of vehicles in the area. The shop it's self has a number of freezer units that are often not operating properly to maintain correct temperature for storage. There is adequate stock for most things in the store. The staff are very helpful and are friendly. It works well lots of people may do there shopping in larger shopping centres but the bigger the shopping centre the more problems with parking more people it's a long task to shop much quicker to just drop into Humpty doo . The only negative I along with alot of other locals have is the lack of cigarette choices at smoke counter eg bond st blue/ riverstone tobacco nearly always out very annoying. So we go to Coolalinga no problem there

Expensive... although was some decent clearance items.

One of the best little stores around friendly and polite staff.

Friendly, helpful staff, the shop does not have the same variety of stock as some of the larger stores.

It's pretty local and has what you'll need. If you're not bothered to drive all the way to Coolalinga, just come here for groceries. If you live far from Humpty Doo then I recommend getting it delivered to your house.

Fabulous staff. Only reason I go there actually. Be friendly and they will return the smile and cheery g'day.
