The staff are friendly and very accommodating. I came for a perm and my hairdresser took the time to discuss carefully the style of curls that I wanted and made sure it's possible to achieve. This is the first time my hair has ever come out exactly the way I wanted--thank you :) Will definitely come back for any hair styling needs. (The lovely view from the salon is a plus too.)

Cannot praise Connie and the team enough! From the minute I came in I felt at home and everyone there was genuinely friendly. I got my hair straightened using the bio ionic system which I have done numerous times before at other salons before but have never been shown the care and expertise that the team showed me. I have definitely found my new salon in Sydney!

I strongly do not recommend this hair salon.I made a booking for a digital perm with Florence. When I sat down I showed her some pictures of what I wanted. Florence said I would need to get a trim because the top layer was too heavy. She then spent about 10 minutes cutting my hair. At certain moments I could see that the top layer was getting significantly short - my bottom layer sat on my collar bones while the top layer was reaching just above my ears. I asked repeatedly whether she was going too short to which she replied it was to give a bouncy effect. Now, although I had asked for bouncy hair, it was one of the several requirements I had specified prior to the treatment - I also wanted the top layer of my hair to fold inward to cover my face. But now that the layer was too short it wouldn’t.After the 10 minutes of layering Florence stopped to ask if I still wanted to continue with the perm. She explained that now that there were shorter layers my hair could look bouncier and may not need a perm (especially since I had gotten a perm 4 months ago). Because the hair was still wet and disorganised I could barely see how my hair would look when dry. And as I was looking forward to having the glamorous look that a perm would enable, I said yes to continuing with a perm.During the perm I knew some things were going wrong - I had gotten a perm multiple times so the differences stood out very obviously. Firstly Florence’s skills of curling the hair and attaching to the machine were subpar - she dropped the rolls on the floor multiple times, and put them on my hair repeatedly. Not only was this unhygienic, I was getting worried as to how much experience she’d had with perms. Another concern was the directions in which the rolls were heading. They were all heading in the same direction and I could tell that she was putting no thought into the design. The machine was also strange - it looked like the machine was from the 80s. It looked so old and run down, and so different from other digital perm machines I had come across.Concerned, I paused and asked Florence if the machine was for a digital perm. She replied “no, this is a ceramic perm”. Seriously, I had made a booking for a digital perm and had confirmed on the day with Florence herself that I would like to have a digital perm. Yet she proceeded to give me another type of perm I had never even heard of. What upsets me the most in hindsight is that she did not even ask me whether it would be ok to go for another type. After the machine was finished I was moved to another chair for a dry. I waited in the chair for 20 minutes with two staff members coming to randomly touch my hair to put some heat protectant on. I figured that she was obviously unavailable and the staff were trying to make me feel looked after. But to be sitting in the chair with wet hair for 20 minutes certainly was not pleasant. After Florence finally turned up and dried my hair, it just looked so... off. I could tell that the perm had burned my hair, and that the layering she had done before the perm was indeed too short and flipping in all directions. I could also tell that she was surprised to see how different my hair ended up turning out in comparison with the photos and my verbal requirements at the start of the treatment. When I went to pay, I got asked to pay $305 for the most awful hair treatment I had been given. When I asked for the breakdown (ps. should they not tell you before you ask?) the receptionist said it was $200 for the perm and $105 for the 10 minute cut.It has now been almost a week since I visited the salon and I have been depressed almost every day seeing the mirror. The hair looks dry, uncared for, and just plain awful. I am attaching pictures for reference. Please, if you were considering visiting this salon and especially seeing Florence, I hope that you would read my review and reconsider. Sydney is a city with many great hairdressers out there - hope you do not make the same mistake that I did.

Although the staff were all very lovely, the perm I received was not. My hair has broken off every where so now I have very short hair sticking up all over the place. My hair now looks terrible and I feel embarrassed. I had a perm previously and never had this issue. I’m very disappointed

Florence is amazing and I haven't gone back to another hairdresser since meeting her! Her skills in this industry and work ethic are on another level. 3 weeks before my wedding, I also asked Florence to dye my hair and she did a superb job.

I highly recommend Florence for her excellent haircut and friendly customer service.I went to the Revo salon to accompany my friend for her haircut with Florence and I saw her changed from a beautiful woman to a stunning elegant princess after the haircut. I couldn’t help myself to have a haircut and styling from Florence for myself there and then, eventhough I had just had one a few weeks ago somewhere else.I recognized Florence’s cutting technique, it’s really excellent! and she can style your hair to suit your face to look better. Thank you Florence and also Sebastian for washing my hair so gently.

I came to Revo Hair Atelier this week for my first ever perm, and am SO pleased with the results! I wanted more body to my usually dull and flat hair. Mayu did an amazing job, her skills are second to none. She did what was best for my kind of hair, and explained the process the whole way through. Will definitely be back!

I went here to touch up my regrowth on the 11 of December 2021. I kept asking the owner and the hair colourist if its do-able they both said yes. Then the hair colourist totally messed up my hair. I have random patches of snapped hair all over my head. I naturally have a lot of hair and now I’m left with like 40% of hair left. They kept it to themselves at the end of the appointment it wasn’t until I got home and noticed that my hair is falling out and that I had to chase them up for a refund. They did offer free treatment but I have no trust in them to go back and sit in their chair. I don’t understand how they could let me go home knowingly how bad they damaged my hair. It’s been a month and their mistake is causing me so much stress and till now I still cry almost every night. I can’t even tie my hair up without everyone noticing the damage. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I'd like to start with saying I never leave bad reviews but I feel it's important to give people a heads up about the dishonesty of this establishment. I went to Revo to get a cut and treatment and bought loads of products (it wasn't cheap) while I was there i asked how much it would be to get some highlights. It was very overpriced but I agreed to it anyway. The following week I attended my appointment and when paying I was charged extra for washing the colour out of my hair. How does that work?? Surely the hair stylist knows that colour put onto hair has to be washed out. Hidden extras. Its like ordering a coffee knowing the price but been charged extra for the use of the cup. I'll never be back and I'll make sure none of my friends/family will visit this dodgy salon. STAY AWAY!!!Added note! My foils did not cost $140! I wish they did it was $240 plus a surprise additional $20 for washing the colour out of my hair. I don't understand why you are referring to the website! I didn't look at the website i spoke to you and and you employee in person and I was told a price for the look i wanted. I was never offered anything complimentary either so please don't blatantly lie. Shame on you!! I'll never be back
