It's well designed, with spacious and comfortable seats, with a steep enough incline that you can even see the stage if a taller person sits in the seats in front of you.Uncertain about the sound quality for music since I only saw a lecture-like show here.

I visited the Plenary Theatre to watch the Star War concert, and the venue is superb. The seats are very comfortable, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The venue had access to the disabled on each level, and the staff were very highly respectful towards all attendance, especially those with disabilities.

The Plenary is a quality, modern venue which has been designed to rearrange in different ways to suit varied events. The seats are comfy and the view from the top tier is satisfactory. I saw physicist Brian Cox here give a talk on all things astronomical so the events here are certainly varied. In the large foyer space outside the theatre there are outlets offering drinks and food. (They don't like you bringing in your own at major shows).

Easy to get to from Southern Cross about a 10 min walk, cross over beautiful Wayfarer's Bridge. Nice size venue for concerts, speakers etc. Huge concourse space with multiple food carts and lots of seating. And tonight, because I was taking photos, I noticed some of the Plenary's interesting architectural features. Actually I've been here 3 times. Once for a Doctor Who concert (music from the show, narrator and multiple Daleks and Cybermen roaming around!), once to hear Neil Degrasse Tyson (physicist) speak and tonight, 8.4.23 for the Doobie Brothers 50th anniversary concert. And the concert was amazing, Doobie Brothers sounded so good! So many hits. Loved it!

Awesome place for concerts and other events inside Melbourne convention center.I had attended 2 events here and the experience has been amazing except the balcony area seatings are too steep while accessing your seats.

I had a great time, the theatre is pretty incredible and of course, star wars was absolutely awesome. I didn't expect it to hold over 5,000 people if I'm honest. The acoustic panels are fascinating too. It's a world class venue, but the seats gave me world class leg pain. Take a butt pillow and thank me later. Other than that, everything was just amazing.

I attended the MHS speech night in this Theatre for the first time. I didn't know we had a theatre in the exhibition centre. The hall looks like a concert hall. At the night it ease setup south the whole Orchestra.Outstanding performances by the outgoing year 12 students. It is amazing to see what is possible when you focus on getting great results and achievement.Kudos to all the teachers who work tirelessly with the students assuring their success.

Wonderful theatre and great views of the stage even from the back rows. Staff are very helpful. The orchestra sounded amazing, wonderful sound clarity and easy to find once inside the convention centre.

Very beautiful setting for up to 10000 people. A lot of exit outlets and entrance points. But it took 10 minutes walk from the centre entrance to the theatre. There were stalls along the pathway
