This is the second year in a row I have used Shane's services for repairs on my caravan. In 2021 Shane replaced a water tank that had split and was leaking water. In 2022 Shane came out to check a gas hot water service was working correctly. Shane checked and confirmed all was OK. On both occasions I was pleased with the price and the service.

Wasted $120 on a gas repair of our Motorhome Hot Water System. He did not do the job properly on a simple fix and the repair broke the first week of our trip. Had to get an experienced gas mechanic to redo the job and have had no problems since. Beware of quick fixes.

We had and still have a problem with our caravan fridge not working on 12v. Shane came quickly and inspected it we were told he needed to order a part to be here in two days we then gave him $100. We rang and we were answered a couple times to be told not here yet, had covic etc. then were not answered or called back. 5 weeks later still no contact.

One day out on our 1st holiday in four years and the water died on our caravan. Shane (Wide Bay Mobile Mechanics) was fantastic. Came to us, identified the problems and found time in his very busy schedule to fit a new valve and pump. All fixed in 24hrs. Thanks again Shane. We appreciate your assistance very much!

CARAVAN AWNING REPAIRDue to a very sudden strong wind our caravan awning flipped and broke the arms and fortunately Shane and his wife were on site. He rang and found a place to purchase new arms and then they removed and fitted new ones also a good anti flap kit. We were pleasantly surprised at the cost they charged and are so grateful that they were here.Absolutely highly recommend them for any issues you might encounter on your travels.

What a shame. Shorted out running lights on my motorhome when trying to replace a number plate bulb. Said he'd come back in a day or two after research to fix it. Won't answer the phone, won't return texts. Hasn't been back. What a sham. $150 to replace two lights on a trailer (which I stupidly paid believing him he would be back!), makes things worse not better on the motorhome & won't man up enough to answer his phone, text or even to say Sorry
