Located near Canberra airport. Large store as usual with ample parking space. Restaurant available. Food was average and needed to be better. IKEA Rhodes Sydney has better food.

A large furniture and home accessories store in a good location in the retail area of Piallago with plenty of parking. Much of the furniture on display comes in ‘flat pack’ so some assembly skills required despite being promoted as ‘easy’. I really like how areas a set up to simulate home situations as it does give a good idea of the quality and size of furniture and soft furnishings. There are always some good bargains when requiring some practical things. It is easy to get lost if you are a first timer because the store covers a huge area with a bit of a maze in little passage ways from one area to another. Not good if you are in a rush! Also finding items in the flat pack storage bays can be challenging especially if you don’t get polite assistance.

Purchased dbl wardrobe with install. Despite IKEA booking instal ONLY ONE person turned up and five days late! I had to help and then the installer left an incomplete job. Just amazing. Can’t put doors on by myself.

I would specially like to mention Justin at the checkouts. Super friendly and approachable. I had lots of stuff to buy and this guy helped me answer some of my questions very efficiently, straight to the point, no dramas. He also assisted me in scanning which is good but at the same time it's too hard on ikea checkout guys to scan and help the other customers at the same time but Justin you're a legend mate!!

Been twice since we moved to Canberra, easy to get a park & less customers compared to other stores. Cafe staffs has always been polite & pleasant. Food is cheap compared to what’s out there.Stocks are pretty much available in the warehouse or on the shelves. Generally neat & clean.Less to be desired is the checkout as you have to self serve regardless if you are the elderly, parents with young babies or children or in wheelchairs.Twice I’ve dealt with the customer rep that were supposed to help customers out.And both times I was very underwhelmed with the service & experience.The last one was Michael, visited on the 28th of April 23. He was just not that friendly nor approachable & very dismissive.Maybe he hates customers or his job in general. I did not come here with my family to be tested like that.Would be nice to see staff trained or hired how to do their job properly esp in customer service.

Went during the day and was really quite, appreciate shopping out of crowds. They where doing some renovations and updating parts but everything was still easy to access that’s needed.LOTS of disable parking which I always LOVE with loading spaces in between spots. Bathroom was super clean. Had everything I needed in stock. Prices are higher these days unfortunately like everything. Didn’t have to wait long to checkout which was good. Staff where friendly and helpful too.

Good-Free car par.-2 cheapest patrol stations in Canberra nearby.-Friendly staff and value for money.-Free 1 hour indoor playground. Member is 2 hours except school holiday and weekend. Staffs in playground are super cool. They are very good with kids and engage with them. My kids used to come here twice per week because of friendly staffs. Really appreciate!-Food in restaurant and snack bar is value for money and healthy.Bad-Nil
