Camp on Allyn
Great spot, lovely hosts with very clean amenities and room to spread out. Close to town if you need supplies. Fire pit supplied on all sites to kick back and relax. Also has a great camp kitchen. Pet friendly. Can't wait for our next visit, absolutely love the wide open space and the views. They also take pride in recycling all waste products.

The staff on arrival were friendly and welcoming, the weather wasn't quite the same but the camp sites are huge, each has either a fire pit or pavers for a fire pit. If you have no way of listening to music don't worry the cows sing most of the day. If you'd like to explore the river make sure to take river shoes as it's very stony.Would absolutely stay here again.

If you want a tranquil location for camping this is the place to goIt's classified as a primitive camp ground, but it's far from primitive, it has beautiful clean toilets/showers, lovely camp kitchen and every site which is big enough to fit 4 caravans comfortably on has a fire pit to keep you nice and toasty at nightYou can also swim in the river in the warmer weather and the hosts Robyn and Tom are the nicest people you'll ever meetThank you for the enjoyable stay

Fantastic camp grounds. We were a group of 6 couples in caravans/camper trailer and fitted on one stand. No power, but we were allowed to make a fire. Wood is available @ $50 for half a trailer load. Clean toilets (2) and showers (2). Dump point available. Very peaceful. Stunning night skies. Pet friendly.

The spacious and clean holiday camp, the hillside in the distance, and the pasture close at hand, are like a beautiful picture. The owner Robyn is very friendly, I have regarded this as my vacation destination.

All the reviews are true. Fantastic spot with awesome hosts. I love that they sell firewood, refill gas bottles and have a few bits and bobs like marsh mellows in the kiosk.The river is great for a splash too.

Camp on Allyn
Just got home from a wonderful 3 nights at this amazing campsite. Had booked for two nights but as soon as we arrived decided to stay an extra night. Huge huge sites, quiet, wonderful scenery, and Robyn was a great host. Power, water, showers, toilets and a dump point, birds everywhere. Ticked all our boxes. Will definitely return, probably with some friends!

This place is amazing. The amenities are clean, the grounds are maintained extremely well, the owners are amazing to deal with and our family had a great time.
