Hurstbridge Medical Centre

I am so so disappointed in this clinic. I ring today to get my son an appointment as I suspect he has an ear infection. My friend takes him to the appointment as I'm stuck at work to be told due to it being a symptom of covid then they won't see him even though when I rang I was clear about what the appointment was for Covid and the flu are not going anywhere. Put some PPE on and see my child for god's sake. I made it very clear he had grommets and I was concerned but no, he's still treated like a disease even though he's had negative covid tests. The doctor was willing to prescribe him antibiotics when he hadn't even seen him - absolutely not. What is this world coming to. You don't want the emergency departments clogged up but you won't see a poor child for a sore ear which in fact turned out it was infected and why? The grommet had fallen out. Surprise, surprise, mum was right. My other son had a sore ear only 5 days prior and my usual doctor had an emergency appointment available and they saw him no questions asked. How unfortunate that they didn't have anything available today and my son had to go through the ordeal of being confused as to why the doctor wouldn't see him and my friend, who went out of her way for me was made to wait an hour to see someone and told to sit in the car and wait, again, like they're a walking disease. We didn't treat people like this before covid, and now everyone is vaccinated so time to calm down and at least treat children as children, and as if they matter. Luckily the doctor my son did end up getting to see was lovely but I'm so disappointed in the poor communication and the protocols around seeing a child with a sore ear.

This visit was for my AstraZeneca number 2 vaccination. Staff were very organised and the process was very smooth (as was the case with my first vaccination. Appropriate information was given verbally and in written form once again. The staff were friendly and personable. I would highly recommend this facility

Great Doctors, friendly professional environment, premises are clean and staff efficient. They provide for mixed billing and Allied Health Services are terrific. Yes expect to wait some but your consultation will probably run over time as well, these people care.

Very impressed with the clinics service after changing from my old one. Calling through to reception was a breeze compared to other clinics. I saw Doctor Leena, who really went over and above and explained everything to me in detail. Thank you!

I have always found that Hurstbridge Medical Centre's, doctors, nurses and receptionists, all work very hard to give you the best attention, booking times and medical care you need. It's great that they have other allied services on the premises for physio and podiatry also. I have had Covid vaccines, medical check ups after surgery, wound care and 1-1 help with pain medication management by the doctors and nurses. It is an excellent clinic that services a large diversity of people.

We love our local doctors in Hurstbridge! Even if our regular GP isn't available, everyone we've seen at the clinic has been great. They have fitted us in for an urgent appointment before and the nurses are fantastic - including with the little kids. Highly recommend this practice!

Its been 40 years since I started using the Hurstbridge Medical Centre as my health provider. The clinic had just opened. I have been fortunate to have had this family clinic in my life. It has grown and expanded and now offers services and advice I need for all my medical needs especially as an older patient .There is always very friendly staff in reception to welcome me . My original family Dr is retired and his daughter, now a Dr has now taken his place. How lucky can one be. Lots of other Drs and nursing staff to compliment this family clinic. Confidence in ones medical service provider is a wonderful thing . Carol.M

Great Clinic offers many services. Fantastic Doctors extremely understanding, knowledgeable and supportive. Friendly, empathetic, supportive and understanding reception staff. Very Clean and well presented located in a beautiful area.

The health professionals at HMC are great. My only concern is that you are often left waiting for medical appointments, for example up to 45 minutes without explanation. This is not respectful of patients' time. I don't know whether it is due to overbooking. In contrast, the allied health professionals are always on time.

Excellent medical service! Friendly and helpful reception staff. My doctor is next to none - very thorough, reliable and holistic. I’m so glad to live close by and able to rely on such an excellent medical team! Thank you
