The Pill Factory

Went to the Pill Factory with a group of friends for a great weekend in the Southern Highlands. The Pill Factory is in Bundanoon which is a small town that has plenty of coffee shops and a great pub. If you're looking for a getaway for a weekend or longer with a large group this is a great place to stay. There are lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and plenty of living area and a great bar room !! The kitchen has everything you need so it's easy to self contain and there's a great outside area.

The Pill Factory is really everything that is wonderful about Bundanoon in the Southern Highlands, all wrapped into one amazing stay. I’d recommend any event here - from a bunch of friends escaping for the weekend to a heritage inspired wedding! The surrounds are exquisite, the accomodation grand and every little detail has been thought through so carefully. 5 stars is not enough!

Simply the best large group accommodation location in the Southern Highlands. Actually all of Australia! We had the best few days here with close friends all together in the one place. Amazing setting, so much fun & memories to last for ages. With everyone able to stay at the same place, no designated drivers required! A few panadols to recover though :)

This place overdelivers. It’s bigger, wackier, and comfier than you expect – even with huge expectations. The location is brilliant, a short walk to a great pub and an easy drive to vineyards, and the space is set up perfectly for so many different variations of a party that you can attempt them all across one long weekend. There’s an excess of extra touches, like board games and hot water bottles and sport equipment and firewood that make staying well worth it. Plus the team are ridiculously helpful, fair and communicative. So refreshing for private accom in NSW. 11/10.

The weekend spent at the Pill Factory catered for all of our groups needs. Celebrating a 40th with family and friends, it was the perfect location to bring everyone together.The common areas with fireplaces were warm and inviting and provided great entertainment spaces.The ability to cater for a large group in the indoor and outdoor dining areas was a huge advantage. The indoor dining room was exquisite:)Guests had the ability to visit local attractions, shops and walking trails so it never felt like you were stuck within the same walls.The sleeping quarters were toasty, cosy and comfortable and the amenities provided made you feel transported to a different place in time.Dealing with the owners is an absolute breeze! Friendly and helpful, they made it such a personal and fun experience!Thanks Pill factory for letting us make memories within you walls- you are a unique beauty and we will be back!

Middle of 2019, a number of us went to Bundanoon to take part in a friendly tennis challenge and The Pill Factory ticked all boxes for us. Lots of rooms to accommodate everyone, common areas like the games room with it's own bar and fire place, a huge dining room, industrial kitchen, bathrooms galore, cosy lounge room, all extremely functional and full of character.From the outside, the building is quite deceiving, as it does not even hint about it's magic interior. Wooden wall panels, stairwell, floorboards with fireplaces everywhere give the impression of a hunting lodge in the Alps and being centrally located, it's walking distance to everywhere.We all agreed that we are looking forward to staying there again.

The Pill Factory is amazing! I have been lucky to stay there more than once and cannot wait for the chance to stay there again.There is so much space so great for a large group. The living area is so incredibly cosy - perfect for when it’s cold outside and you can sit around the fireplace. The bar room is a fabulous place for a few pre / post dinner drinks and the kitchen is awesome.It’s just perfect for a getaway with friends and family- there is so much space.Claudia the host cannot do enough to make your stay perfect.

Perfect place to accommodate our very large family attending our son's wedding. We had the best weekend, made special by being able to all stay together. The Pill Factory had everything we needed. We had lots of fun playing pool and darts in the games room. The oldies" could relax in the lounge room. The dining room was great as we were all be able to eat together. Thank you Claudia

This is the perfect place for a party!! What an amazing old house in a stunning town and you won't find a more fun venue with everything you need. So many areas to hang out, a few minutes to town, loads of parking, it's warm too !!!!!! This has to be one of the best weekend stays for a huge group of people and Claudia's service is second to none perfection!!!Thank you thank you

Had the most amazing stay at the pill factory during our wedding weekend! Claudia was extremely accomodating and was very personable. The building was such a lovely throwback and we found ourselves drinking red wine and chatting around the open fireplace instead of staring into our phones. We had 30 people staying with us and each night we would play pool and sit around the bar having a great time. The building was the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed weekend and being a short walk to the main street or pub, it allowed our guests to come and go as they pleased to get coffee, food and explore lovely Bundanoon.
