If you are looking for authentic Chinese food this is the place for you it's hands down the best chinese I've ever had !Like other have said the English menu is very different from the Chinese one so I'd suggest using google translate if needed.They cook everything fresh and it's worth the extra waiting time( yes you will be waiting just know this )In our photos we have the Kyoto Ribs # 11 on the Chinese menu and the Spicy boiled Beef #24 also pork dumplings.I would highly recommend Spicy beef as it was really tasty and would be fine feeding 2 people easily as it's very large.

Wouldn’t recommend there special fried rice that’s for sure! Won’t be going there again

This is a message I got from my friend about how great this store isPull in to a small county town in the bdouble keen as for a feed before bed the Chinese restaurant is closed up still lit up I head in the two owners are sitting there eating dinner I asked if I could still by food I’m from out of townHe says yea cooks me a mean feed salt and pepper calamari to die for think the best I have ever had honey chicken and rice and curry puffs but as I go to leave he offers for me to eat in the grabs me a free water from the fridge and sits down with me and we all eatAlong the way asks about trucking and Wjere I’m from introducing him self as John and his wife Amy aparently she runs the local massage joint during the day the restaurant at night(they work supper hard and she makes the best dimsims) super nice family and very welcoming I’ll be back and I’ll let u all know about her dimsims soon

I give five stars for the food, but the speed of serving really needs to be improved.

Have ordered only from the Chinese menu so far, the stirfried dishes taste amazing!! Note the English menu is extremely different from the Chinese menu so if you are looking for authentic Chinese food you'll need to order from the Chinese side. Only downside I'd say is some of the dishes are a little on the pricey side for the quantity given.

Sichuan Mum’s Kitchen has a great mix of sichuanese, cantonese, malaysian and thai dishes. We ended up ordering a selection of dishes from both the english translated menu and the Chinese side. Everything was exceptional. Had garlic pig tripe, black fungus and cucumber in black vinegar, fried rice, honey chilli chicken, wilted spinach and enoki. Everything was made fresh to order which meant a bit of a wait, but it was worth it. This is one of those local family owned businesses that should be treasured for years to come. I will make sure to come back every time I’m in Shepparton!

Authentic, delicious Sichuan food, in the heart of Shepp. Agree with other posters - the Chinese menu is the pick and has the more authentic Sichuan dishes. Our group ordered the 水煮牛 (shui zhu niu - spicy boiled beef), 空心菜 (kong xin cai - water spinach), 麻婆豆腐 (mapo doufu - spicy mince and tofu), 鱼香肉丝 (yu xiang rou si - shredded pork and vegetables in sauce), 猪肉饺子 (zhu rou jiaozi - pork dumplings), and 白饭 (bai fan - white rice), and they were all great. If you can handle a little spice, you can't go wrong with any of these. Highly recommended!
