Fantastic venue, warm & welcoming staff and brilliant food. We’ve visited here on many occasions over the years and they are extremely consistent in providing good quality food & service; even more impressive is how they handle the challenging services. On the most recent occasion dining with Pier 70 for my partners birthday, it was apparent the team had been thrown a few curveballs (and a number of delightful Karen’s), yet the (assumed) owner/head chef and broader team kept their heads straight and managed to provide an excellent experience regardless. 5 stars for this talented group of people! We’ll see you again soon

Staff were amazing and the food was delicious! Although the food did take longer than expected to come out, they were busy and we were starving, which didn't help! Some great views from both indoor and outdoor seating, and would definitely recommend. Our dog was allowed with us outside too which was great, and the staff were very attentive.

The food was delicious with an amazing view of the sea. Place was peaceful and just perfect for lunch outings. Also friendly staff.

Beautifully renovated restaurant along the water. Lovely views. Went for lunch on a Friday and it wasn't too busy. Food was served prompt and service was OK. The scotch fillet steak was a little bit cold when served. Seafood pasta would taste better with a little bit more seasoning.

Pier 70 Bar & Restaurant
We were delighted to find such a lovely restuarant for lunch today. Although the weather was cool it was lovely sitting on the deck. We were traveling with our dog and he was made most welcome, even an offer of a water bowl from the Chef. The meal was superb, we both had grilled gummy shark with vegetables and it was delicious and cooked to perfection. We both highly recommend Pier 70, the staff were terrific and the food exceptional.

Beautiful restaurant on the water, great atmosphere, amazing service and food was great. Highly recommend the dining experience here. Service was second to none, very knowledgeable and helpful with dietary requirements. All produce is purchased from sustainable and local suppliers which you can see in the quality of the food. For entree we spare ribs (highlight), prawns, crispy chicken and for mains scotch fillet, seafood spaghettini and fresh of the day - Lakes Gummy. All meals presented beautifully, very tasty and perfectly cooked. Meals sizes are generous. We will be back for sure, sorry no photos got caught up in the experience.

We have been here a couple of times when we have holidayed in Paynesville. We love it, food is always amazing and the service is excellent. They accommodated my dietary needs and were nothing but accommodating with our table. The desserts were yummy too. Thank you for another great night, we will be back.

Held a private function here today if I could rate this 10 stars out of 5 I would. Service by Ian and the kitchen team was of such a high standard. Food was amazingly fresh, varied and tasty, beautifully presented and generous. The venue is excellent and central, just beautiful. We are already planning on returning. A gem not to be missed.

Pier 70 Bar & Restaurant
The food was really nice and the service was fantastic. Seafood dish didn’t have large portions of seafood, prawns were quite small, and the sauce was lacking in flavour. Seafood chowder was absolutely wonderful. Pier 70 was a little pricey.
