I put a much loved ring into be downsized and asked if it could also be valued. The Lady behind the counter- I assume is the owner - said and I quote, ' Not worth it darling. It is not an expensive ring. You WOULD be lucky to get $100 for it if you sold it but we can make it smaller if you want.' I received a phone call the following week to say it was ready - it was very much the same lady. I went in to pick it up ' No it not ready. Impossible that someone phoned you.' A week later I phoned to see if it was ready .. ' Yes it is ready ' ... I was told. I went in to the shop and instead of it being downsized it had been made much MUCH larger and the owners .. it was so obvious .. knew it was an error but tried initially to blame me. The Lady did not approach me at all but she knew who I was so she let her husband do it. Fortunately he did not charge me. Honestly I felt so belittled and insulted by this transaction.

I have never really left a bad review. But the customer service here was disgusting. After reading the reviews on here, it looks like I am not the only one that has experienced it. I will never walk into that store again.

DO NOT entrust your valuables with these people. The customer service is non-existent and I'm not even confident they did the work they claimed they did. Look at the other reviews if you need any more convincing.

I have had 2 experiences with this shop. I guess I was lucky the first time in getting my wife's watch serviced there.They asked what I wanted and it was done as requested.My second experience I wanted a wall clock serviced. It was returned with a replaced movement very different to what was in it.When I questioned why it was replaced and not serviced as requested, I was given a dismissive this is how you fix it" answer. When asked why I didn't receive a call to advise so I could expect the situation I was told "it's what we do".So I wanted a refund. Took the clock down there and was told I was a whinging to them.To think that all this could be avoided by the simplest of phone calls

If I could leave a '0' I would. My husband needed a new wedding ring, Giovanni showed us one expensive ring and then put it down under the counter while he looked for another. He turned back around and then couldnt see the ring and accused us of stealing it denying that he put it under the counter and threatening to call the police. After some discussion and more threatening to call police he found the ring, apologised and then expected us to purchase like nothing happened. Never going in there again!

Avoid this shop. I went in to have a link removed from my watch. She then tried to charge me $50. I said you are kidding and she changed the price $30 which is still way over the top for a 30 sec job. I paid it but said I want happy. She responded with next time I will do it cheaper. There won't be a next time.

dodgy is a compliment. terrible customer service.Maria promised to call after speaking to watch repairer. no call received.Called again, Giovanni says he tried to call (while i waited) says he could not reach him.Called back spoke to Maria who says, we can not call him and we have to wait until saturday when he comes into store.

They are never open. There are hours online but they clearly just pick and choose their opening hours. I have been twice to collect something and twice now they have been closed - 10:00AM Sunday and 4:00PM Monday.

I would give 0 stars, if I could. Didn’t think a simple change of batteries would turn out so badly. First they tried to charge me an excessive amount because of the Watch brand. After negotiation, we settled with an amount. When I came to pick up the Watch the face was pushed in and the Watch completely ruined. They claimed it was faulty and could send it away to be fix for exorbitant fee. Incredibly disappointed as I bought the Watch on my travels overseas.

Went to look at a new wedding band, had to wait ages for service while she was serving another customer but didn't even bother to acknowledge we were there and at least say she be with us in a moment. Just before we walked out we got served. Even though she was very pushy about it we decided to go with one of the rings but I had my concerns. Having high blood pressure my finger has swollen since I got married and had to get my old ring off first before we could size it. She said about cutting it off but I did not trust her to do that plus I didn't want to. Eventually we finally agreed to lay by it and come back within the week after I get my ring off with ice and soap at home, to get a size but she still put a size on the form which we kept dying not to. So we had to insist on putting a question mark next to it as the size she put was the size I currently have which is too small now. A few days later we get a call that they've already resized it and when being told they weren't supposed to do that yet he hung up.So we went in there to speak to them in person. All we got was lies about sizing my finger which she never did at all cause I still had my old ring on. Then it changed to something about sending me to some place for a proper size which is another complete lie. Then she said about fixing it and I asked how seen as they've already cut it down. They want to put the gold back on, now if you know anything about gold it compromises the integrity of the gold and makes it weak in the areas it's been put back on. Then she finally brought out the sizing rings but refused to let me try on the size I wanted to and got me to try one that's two times the size of my original ring. I wanted it smaller so that once I get my blood pressure down my fingers will go down again but still wanted a bit bigger then my old one. So I said because they resized it when they weren't supposed to and because she wouldn't let me try the size I wanted that we just want our money back seen as they've stuffed the ring. She tried to say they didn't have the money in the register, which is strange for a jewellery place, and then claimed she couldn't refund via eftpos how the deposit was paid in the first place. Then advised for us to come back in two days when her husband was there. After ringing fair trading and speaking to centre management we thought we'd advise her of what we did and that we expect the money when we come back which she argued with us and became very stand offish especially when I mentioned that she shouldn't be working in retail if she doesn't know how to do a simple refund with eftpos. Today when we went back her husband was there and when we said we came to get our money back he said he wasn't going to give it back in such a rude and trying to be intimidating way. Now they did wrong and we were not standing for this so ended up in another argument with him yelling at me about the way I speak to people but like I said to him he's speaking to me that way first so he can't speak. He threatened to call the cops but changed his mind after I said for him to go ahead so we can have a nice chat about the con they pulled on us. All we wanted was our money back and that would be it but they tried everything to make us buy a ring that they resized when they shouldn't have which is too small. The lay by slip isn't even a proper lay by slip to begin with. Finally he gave us our money back. Other jewellery places even said they are not allowed to send a ring for resizing until its been fully paid off and that she never should have written down the size on the form (one even suggesting it's illegal) seen as it was a lay by. And one even said she has heard that she is stand offish and uses intimidation from other customers. My advice do not go there at all it's not worth the drama, they have no concept of customer service and will do anything to get you to buy their stuff including lie through their teeth.
