About the Business
Garling Gallery | Born in Pambula, Brett ‘Mon’ Garling’s work is influenced by his childhood in rural towns, such as, Lightning Ridge, Narrabri and Dubbo where his love of the bush and it’s characters were nurtured. Mon strives to find the presence and character in his subjects, breathing life into his work, transforming clay and paint into a vital living form.

Well worth a visit! This small but delightful gallery holds beautiful paintings and sculptures by artist Brett 'Mon' Garling. Brett is a very talented, passionate artist and a top bloke. A must see!

アーティストは幼い頃から動物標本や解剖学に興味を持っていたため、モンスターを略して「モン」と呼ばれていたそうです。素晴らしい彫刻、絵画のギャラリーでもあり、実際に作っているところを見学することも出来ます。青銅像を作る過程を説明してくださり、長い時間をかけて、ミニチュアの原案から実物大になるまでの流れを知ることが出来ます。2019年にはダボ市から美濃加茂市へ、姉妹都市30周年を記念して彼の作成したカンガルー像が贈られました。鋳造所や、庭には様々な像、馬の骨で作られたアートが展示してあります。
