Joey is the best.. value for money!!she first applied the color i wanted but it didn’t come out as expected because i had black hair dye previously. She then increased the concentration, made some custom changes and applied it to me. The result was fantastic. Totally appreciate her efforts. QUALITY service.

Went in for a wash and blow-dry and had the most AMAZING experience ever. It literally felt like I got a whole new do afterwards, but most importantly I felt like my hair was given a beauty treatment. The 30 minute wait was well-worth it. I also liked how the owner was very receptive of the people queuing, in the sense that she'd pull people from the queue into an empty chair to gauge what services they want before putting them back in the queue and commencing on a new customer.

Initially it was cut by a lady who seemed like she was in a rush (as it was closing). I didn't really want to trouble her to fix my hair so I paid and left the salon. It was $30 in total.I was then looking carefully at my hair in the mirror outside their salon when I realized that it looked weird at the bottom. I stared in the mirror really long trying to accept it.Then another friendly and kind lady with a short haircut came outside to ask if I thought the haircut was okay I said yeah just that I thought its a bit thick at the bottom and she willingly brought me in to recut it in no rush and saved my hair! I liked it much better now, thank you so much! :)

OMG absolutely love the hospitable service and the price as well! I got the exact colour as I wanted but it even turns out way better than I thought!This must-try salon will worth your waits!

I flew into Melbourne from Sydney and immediately started researching hairdressers as I needed to get hair done for a Saturday wedding. After noting the extreme pricing from many salons in the city, I was in despair. Then my concierge mentioned this place. I walked up the day before and spoke to the lady and was impressed with what she said she could do. I went this morning before 9 and turn around time was fast. I was happy with the technique used, I have very fine straight hair, and they were able to do a semi up style and result was better than I expected for such a great price. I left an extremely satisfied customer, highly recommended. Reviews are good because service is good.

I am not fussed with my hair, I just want it short, so I get it clipped when I get a hair cut, it should only take between 5 to 10 minutes. Most places would charge me anywhere between $15 to $60 so I think they are a rip off. I was at JLo Salon Friday afternoon, the guy did a reasonable job, no complaints, only thing is, I had to wait one hour as there were 7 people in front of me so I recommend if you go to JLo Salon you need to go there early (ie. when they open), they are cheapest place to get your haircut in Victoria so good value for money.

Be very specific before waiting in the line and discuss with the dresser the cost. SAVE YOUR TIME.You need to specifically tell them for hair wash else they can cut on oily hair which was weird and first time for me. I waited 1 hour 15 min. Only to hear that I am supposed to pay $30 extra for hair wash whereas my cut is $45. The lady was polite but she never informed me that hair wash is separate and I would have paid if it was $15-$20 but she was saying $30. Didn’t get the cut so can’t comment on that
