My favorite local Fish and Chip and Fresh Seafood platter.Come here regularly. Large portion meal. Good value and quality..highly recommended! Great outdoor marina views...good to come at Sunset!!

1 of the many food stores by the water.Food quality:+ Very fresh seafood, with delectable selection of fish or seafood and how you’d like them done.+ Fresh salad and vegetables as well.Food portion / Price:+ Great portions, may be more suitable for sharing especially coming from Asia culture.+ Prices are reasonable and seems on par with other fish and chip stores per other reviews.Service:+ Very friendly and efficient. Pay at counter, get number slip and waitress delivers to your table based on order number.Crowd:Almost full on weekend lunch.+ Free 3h parking in vicinity for customers which made it really convenient.Payment:Card or cash accepted.

We loved this place, I'm a super fan of eating fish and chips by the water and we all agreed, this place had the best fish and chips we've had in a long time... The location is great too because Samson's is right by the marina, it was the perfect way to have a really good meal, relax and enjoy some family time...The 1st time we went was during a public holiday, it wasnt too busy, we had our puppy with us and asked the if it was ok to have our puppy with us outside... The owner Sam took us to a nice seat outside and turned on the fairy lights above our table, it totally lifted the ambience and made us feel so special...We had a crumbed barra meal, a battered barramundi meal, kids fish & chips and kids nuggets & chips, the portion sizes are big (below photo doesn't do it justice), the fish tasted fresh, loved the batter it wasn't soggy or oily and was perfectly cooked...This was a great place to just sit and watch the sun setting over the water while enjoying your fish and chips... And the whole area was really well lite up at night so it was an added bonus to be able to have a nice stroll around the marina after our amazing meal and so the overall experience was exceptional...

Sam runs Samson Fish Seafood at the Marina in Cleveland Queensland. It is without a doubt that he makes the best seafood chowder in Australia. An authentic Queensland recipe with heaps of fresh local seafood, cooked to order. The chowder is a family recipe that will delight seafood lovers and can proudly be elevated to the ranks of Australia’s chowder equivalent to Bouillabaisse from Marseille or Clam Chowder from Boston as we have been there and tried them all.

Food was amazing but there was only a little portion it was as like the salad was the main meal. The food takes way to long I waited for almost an hour. I will not be coming back

Honestly the best fish & chips I've had for quite a while.Great friendly service too.Even though I stuffed up my order (I forgot to order one of the dishes for a group order) and then someone at neighbouring table stuffed up (by collecting my order when they thought it was theirs) the a were friendly and helpful in sorting everything out..Delicious food, great service, nice location.Happy to go back.

Go early, grab some oysters and calamari, bring your own wine and glasses (or get paper cups and a bottle from the shopping centre across road), and enjoy the sunset over the harbour. Great environment, and friendly service.
