Disappointed. This restaurant was once one of Melbourne’s best Vietnamese restaurants appears to have lost its way.Indochine was once the high end of good Vietnamese food. It now appears to have slid to the bottom end. It doesn’t reflect the freshness and vibrant flavors one expects with Vietnamese food.The grilled chicken in the bun we had was tasteless. The Hanoi spring roll was an insult - it was greasy and soggy. Definitely not going back!

Perfect place for a hot and delicious bowl of pho on a cold day. Ordered my regular raw beef with tendon pho and spring rolls. Ive been here a few times during lunch but this time i came for dinner and the food didnt get served till 30 mins later. Rich broth, so goood that i can drink it all. Noodle portion was a bit off compared to my friends bowl. Some had more noodles whereas some only just had a small handful.

Food was good, was quite satisfied til I went to the counter to pay and was met by one of the rudest lady ever. Initially gave me the wrong invoice and I questioned the food that was ordered as it was not our order and she just kept asking how do we pay and no split bill etc. Then she abruptly provided the correct invoice to me once I told her which table we were sitting on and instead of providing the receipt to me, she has to place it onto a tray. Unsure why when I am standing in front of her. Because of the experience, probably will not go back again.

I went here twice for dinner in my 7 day trip to Melbourne. The food was top quality. The staff is immensely friendly and customer centric. Felt like home food. Highly recommend.

Went here yesterday, crowded, so took ages for the waiter to just take our order, but the food came relatively fast. Tom yum pho was good, the beef pho according to my daughter is not beefy so she doesn’t quite like it, the prawn spring roll was delicious! The drinks lemon soda very bubbly! The 3 color drink was good

saucy gravy fried noodle with beef and tomato fried rice with chicken. was okay, wish i picked something else. probably wont be back anytime soon.

The Hanoi spring rolls are delicious~love the deep fried rice paper pastry but definitely can use a few more pieces of lettuce haha! Fried chicken pho had quite a generous serve of fried chicken~noodles were lovely and soft. The pork chop in special broken rice wasn't really marinated enough but overall was yum.

Friendly and quick service and delicious food. Was nice to see guests warmly greeted by name (so clearly lots of regulars). Restaurant was full, and customers all seemed happy and to be enjoying their meals. We would definitely return and recommend it.

Consistently great quality pho. We have been back a number of times since our first visit and always order their beef pho.With a hearty beef bone broth, soft rice noodles, topped with quality beef, it hits all the right notes and makes for a perfect casual meal paired with some crunchy spring rolls.The restaurant can get quite busy during dinner time, especially on weekends so we recommend booking.⭐️ Our rating: 10/10
