The Lucky Chinese Restaurant

The lucky seafood restaurant offers authentic Chinese cuisine. They specialise in seafood but also other yummy dishes. On promotion, they are offering one whole roasted duck plus lobster with noodles for $150 (reasonable price considering how expensive lobster is). If that’s something out of your price range, have a look at their video slide show because there’s plenty of other great dishes.The menu is all in Chinese, whether in the restaurant or on google. As I cannot read Chinese and the menu does not have pictures, I have no idea how a non-Chinese person would be able to order other than looking at the slide show.The restaurant has an appalling layout and I feel accessibility is a huge issue. The internal is jam packed with tables & chairs. If Covid rules were still in place, the 1.5m social distance would not comply. A four person table positioned both inside and outside blocks half of the circulation space into the doorway. The stairway access to upstairs dining area, has a 500mm space between the first step and the kitchen shelving area. Pretty dangerous anyone accessing these areas!Booking is essential as you cannot just turn up and expect a table. It’s a popular restaurant in Riverwood amongst the Chinese community. Even though there are some flaws, their food is pretty delicious if you know what you’re ordering.

Really good Chinese/Cantonese food. We got three way lobsters. The lobsters were so fresh and were full of flavour. It was cooked to perfection. You can't go wrong on any of the choice. Nothing will disappoint you from their menu. If you want a good Chinese seafood do come here, definitely high quality food.

The taste of the food is pretty good. There are lots of unique cantonese dishes. But the place is overpacked and feels very crammy and dirty and uncomfortable. The service is rushed and doesn't really cater for small groups.

Having dinner here, ordered lamb stew with bean curd sheet! Served in clay pot and it’s very good for having it in winter season!

Hidden jam restaurant in suburb.They have good food. It's really delicious.Their serving is pretty generous.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants I've tried in 2020, the crispy goose is a highlight. The lobster was served to the table nice and fresh; the beef was cooked tender and juicy, and the soup was so delicious. I can't recommend this place enough, will definitely return.

Authentic Chinese cuisine that comes with value for money. Service - Asian style - get in and get out. Tables are cramped together to fit more people in. I would recommend you make a booking as some customers got turned away as it was so busy. The food is good and the price quite reasonable. Bbq goose and lobster with noodles was $168 (can feed 4 people).

This is a good Chinese restaurant in Riverwood.I came here with my parents for lunch on Sunday and they ordered the Sharks fin soup, Barramundi and beef.The service was good. The waiter was chatty with my dad. This meant it created a relaxed environment and he was quite immersed in the topic.They also have an upstairs dining area.There's street parking and parking around the back.
