The service was awesome and the food was absolutely delicious! All of it! I had the best fish curry I've ever had... big call I know, but yep, was amazing. They were great catering for the variety of dietary requirements as well - all very easy.

Such a wonderful and dedicated couple who run this place. The food was authentically Indian and very reasonably priced. This is a little hidden gem which deserves a top spot in Adelaide’s list of best Indian restaurants. The food is fresh and delicious. Best Indian restaurant in Adelaide thus far.

we were a group of 15 last night. great food, great service. Friendly family business. Bargain prices fed us for about $30 per person and took home another meal for 2. Corkage $7 is a bargain.

Best Indian Food in Adelaide, if not Australia ......Authentic, family owned, simple dining area. Please support this lovely Indian Family with original home cooked recipes. Highly Recommend any specials, the beef Vindaloo, and Dahl Makhani.

We have had catering from Samrat Tandoori a number of times. It has been a great experience altogether right from the food being ready on time for pick up to our delighted guests. Quality and quantity were good. Highly recommended.

Had my 60th birthday here because it is the best Indian Restaurant in Adelaide with Authentic home-cooked food.Try the Beef Vindaloo ...amazing. Since the Tandoori Oven closed down years and years ago, there has been no restaurant to replace it.....until now, at least when it comes to food. And a bonus is that it ridiculously affordable. Please give this lovely family a try, at least once and then you will become a loyal patron.

Best Indian and Bengali cuisine south of Adelaide's River Torrens. Very friendly service, excellent pricing, wonderful menu, great location near the city and convenient parking.
