All I can say is when you find a good, honest, fair mechanic you stick to them. Dave is a champ and diagnosed my 4wd issues quickly and didn't cost an arm amd a leg. Even though I have many closer I will always go to burwood for anything that comes up with my hilux...

I have been bringing my cars to Dave now for a couple of years, and I have ALWAYS had good experiences. He’s fair, honest & takes a lot of pride in his work. It’s really hard to find a mechanic you can trust. Today I’ve picked up my 1970 HT Kingswood. Dave has fully rebuilt the transmission, the second trans rebuild he’s done for me. Also rebuilt the trans on my Mark 1 Ford Capri about 18 months ago. (Also had the carby rebuilt by Carburettor Service Co, shares workshop with Dave). HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys!!! Especially GREAT with old school cars! If you want a mechanic who takes pride in his work & tells the truth, come to Dave. If u wanna get ripped off, go elsewhere!!!

Check engine light came on on the way to Sydney, and it was the Christmas weekend. I was expecting BMT to be closed, but thankfully David was able to help me out. Very knowledgeable and helpful, would definitely come back, and would definitely recommend this place.

So I google searched to find the best mechanic in the area, reviews were a clear indication that this could definitely be the case so I called & booked it in.After my car was checked over I was provided with what needed done and why. When I picked it up shown the old parts.As soon as I got in my car and started driving it was almost like floating on a cloud! And running sooooo much smoother.
