This is such a great little shop. I have visited a number of times and have found the help I need. From Absorbic Acid for preserving home made bread to seeds and whole grains and healthy choice alternatives. Service is second to none with a warm friendly feel. Keep it up Nowra Health Store.

Wonderful store and incredibly friendly staff. I come in very reguarly for the delicious healthy chocolates and other goodies! Highly recommend.

The owner of this store was absolutely awful to me. I went in to purchase a bottle of vitamins, when I was at the counter I asked the clerk BEFORE I purchased them if I was able to return them if I happen to find them somewhere else. She said yes, they had a 7 day return policy. I came back approximately 2 hours later after finding what I wanted for less than half of the price. The same clerk apologised and told me that actually they couldn’t return things for “change of mind” and could only give me store credit (If I would have known this I would not have purchased them given the price). I understand the policy but I did ask about returning them prior to purchasing them and the full terms of the policy were not explained to me. The clerk was apologetic but I wasn’t happy with being forced to have a credit for a store that I have only been in once. The clerk grabbed the owner and when she came up she immediately just started saying “no, no, I don’t care, you’re not getting a refund. You don’t go to Cole’s and buy a block of cheese and expect to return it. Where do you work? Do people come into where you work demanding refunds? You can have store credit but that’s it.” At this point, I start getting emotional and tears in my eyes and she then puts her hand up and says to the clerk “don’t fall for this!”. She continues to berate me by turning back to me and says “are you a member here? Because I never want you back in this store! You’ll never come back in this store again! Get your money and get out!”.I just couldn’t believe that this is how a grown, supposedly professional woman could treat someone. For the most part I stood there with my mouth open and tears streaming down my face. The clerk that originally helped me was so sweet and I’m so sorry to her for having to be involved in this.The point is that, when I made the purchase, I asked if I could return the product and it wasn’t made clear to me that you could only return for store credit. If the owner would have come over and had a civil, adult conversation with me, I would have ended up just taking the store credit. I wouldn’t have been very happy, because that was the whole point in me asking the return question. However, she came up already angry with zero compassion, professionalism and didn’t even try to discuss the situation. I left the store in absolute tears and I’m still in shock. Don’t purchase from here if have any doubts about your product because you may get yelled out and belittled in front of everyone.
