Fashion Queen

There is a new shop at Northcote plaza and I had to explore it. My eye noticed their beautiful hand woven dresses with crochet stitching in the design. I decided to try two dresses on, so what do you do when you can't decide, you buy both of course.All their items are made from women artisian of rural India.Meeting Shweta, owner of FASHION QUEEN, I could see how passionate she is about her shop, and she should be because it is an asset to Northcote Plaza.☺️

It was a great pleasure to discoverShweta At Fashion Queen At Northcote Plaza My eyes were immediately drawn to the colours and generous piles of clothes and scarfs . . She is so friendly Helpful and makes you feel you are a valued not only as a customer but as a person . After a year or more after my first visit there she still remembered me ! . I especially love that her garments are sewed by a women's collective in India so when you buy them you are also socially supporting them as well and finally The colours ! The colours of the clothes up lift me and you can find one off pieces that are so beautiful as well as useful . It's like a little trip to India and she smiles Nit the usual shopping experience ! . It's a delight and adventure and you come out with a garment that is unique ! Thanks Shweta I will be visiting again when I am back in Melbourne!

Beautiful clothes but the pants broke as soon as I sat down on the first time I wore them directly out of the store before being washed. And the fabric on the shirt wore very quickly from machine washing.

Lovely shop. Always something new. Delightful lady runs the shop. Best shop at the plaza.
