Mornington Peninsula Shire

I get up pretty early in the morning and you would be amazed at what goes on. Starting at about 4am the council guys and gals empty the bins, then the clean team take care of the public toilets and clean the public bbqs. Then the street sweepers come through the streets and car parks, all before most people have even got out of bed. On two occassios I have had to report a problem and the councils response time is awesome. I have had ocassion to speak with a lovely lady, a senior officer who has even directed me to an organisation that can help with getting a new pair of reading glasses at a heavily discounted price - if that isn't going the extra mile for residents, I don't know what is. In my opinion we are very lucky to have such a well run council, most of there great work goes unnoticed, but without them the mornington peninsula just wouldn't be as great as it is! Keep up the good work!!!!

My name is Dino from Rkosebud area. I am happy this council because I am disabled people and I use Home Care for myself. The staff is friendly people. When carer come help me have shower and they want work with disabled person and they care about them. I am very happy with this service and disabled. Phone goes unanswered during opening hours. Dan Andrews state of incompetence keeps on doing nothing!!

Excellent, Professional Services , and Wonderful many varieties of meals, for all tastes .....very happy people reside and visit this wonderful experience for everyone in your family and friends....

Helpful staff.

The counter staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. However, once the problem enters the machinations of the Council, things slow down dramatically. But then, this seems to be the status quo of local government these days.

Called regarding trees on property. Staff helpful and uninformative.

Dealing with an ongoing noise issue and was delighted to receive a call from Kaz Abbott! She is so nice and helpful. She has gone above and beyond her job description. An absolute star and the shire is very lucky to have her on board. Other councils need to take note.
