Cotton On Launceston

Good range of clothing and accessories, plus the sale is pretty good. However, the fitting rooms are terrible, there aren't enough hooks to hang the clothes and the existing hooks are too small to hang more than 2 pieces of clothing. The doors are also too short, anyone t(aller can look over to the other fitting cubicle, or even average height people tiptoeing). Furthermore the air conditioning was wayyyy too strong by the fitting rooms, it was noticeably colder in the fitting room than the rest of the store. The fitting room lighting can also be improved as it was rather dim compared to other cotton on stores. The store in general is fine but the fitting room really takes away from the shopping experience.

Came here to get some good clothing, and luckily got some nice looking graphic tees. I came to the counter and the staff was kind of angry. She served me just fine but I'd like a more pleasant experience next time.: /

Very rude sales person, I went in with my elderly mum and was spoken to in a very off manner by someone called Yasmin I think

Casual summer wear - lots of tee, singlets and shorts. Large space with sizable men's section. Not much in small or fitted sizes.

Staff can be helpful but the loud music does not make people want to come in-store. You can't even speak to people you're with it's that loud!

This new store is lovely, it's a great size with plenty of space for a huge range, lots of change rooms. The staff are lovely too, it really is a good chain.

Good store. Almost always has the stuff I spot online. One of the first places my friends and I go to shop. There’s also friendly staff pretty much every time I go there.

I love to go back there again

I recently shopped at the Launceston store. I was overtired and managed to leave my wallet there. I didn't realise it was missing until I received a call from Westpac who advised that it had been handed in by a staff member from Cotton On. As this was my first visit to Launceston I had no idea where the bank was so went back to the store. The young man who served me advised he had gone in search of me, checked the bus stop as he knew I was catching the bus, had a look around the mall etc. he handed into the bank when he couldn't locate me. He then offered to walk me to the bank to ensure I received it, This kind of customer service does NOT exist, to my knowledge on the mainland. I will be relocating to Tassie in a few months and am looking forward to living in a state where chivalry is NOT dead and good manners and going that extra mile still exist.

Today Sunday the 23rd of December I was at the cotton on Launceston store around 2:15pm and I approached the male that was working at the time and I asked if my mother who was waiting 10 minutes to try her clothes on could she use the change rooms on the other side of the store as they were not being used. He then proceed to say that no she couldn’t as they only let wheelchair people or mothers with prams use them, so I thanked him and understood. Not even 2 minutes later, two other girls walk up to wait to use the change rooms, the guy turns to them and tells them to follow him and he took them to use the change rooms that he told me were specifically saved for “wheel chairs and mothers with prams” he did this right in front of my mother and I, we were shocked. Then we walk over and say we have been waiting 10 minutes longer than them and he finally lets her use it. Soon after I walked up and asked him why he told me that we weren’t allowed to use the change rooms and he said nothing.Very rude guy that clearly hates his job and shouldn’t be working in customer service. Thankfully the girl that was also working was really nice and had great customer service, too bad the guy let her down.
