Sleeping on the job. Slade pharmacy Richmond really lagging on their job. Service always late. Telling customer, you can collect item on this day but when you go there not even processed yet. Looks like these pplNeeded a good kick in their back sides.

This is the 4th bad review I have ever left in the world.I’ve spent thousands of dollars at Slades. I’m told I have to make an appointment to pick up medication then when I come in with an extra script it takes an extra 30mins to wait for it. I’ve never had to make an appointment to pick up a script.I’ve also had several infusions at Freemasons and every time the Slades have zero communication between the locations and I have to wait hours to have the medication couriered over.In preparation for this I have contacted the pharmacy days beforehand so that the medication is ready to go. So far this has not worked and I still have to wait hours after admission time to have everything sorted.Having medical conditions and having to sort this out is sometimes unbearable. I have always been polite and tried to work out the easiest way to work it out, but i have never had an apology or an explanation.Never expect them to figure it out. Pick up your own meds for a procedure. Don’t ever expect them to ‘work it out’. Especially between the different locations.

Used the slade pharmacy in Richmond at the Epworth hospital. One word to describe it is horrible . Incompetent rude staff. There was an Asian Lady on shift at 9.48 am on Sunday the 26th - she was rude. She needs lesson in customer service. People don’t go to pharmacies for fun it’s not a place to hang around by choice, being rude to customers is not acceptable. It was not only with me she upset a couple of the customers. Also in an empty pharmacy it would be good if your staff spend less time gossiping with each other. Epworth consider your options - great hospital stay ruined by some incompetent people working in a pharmacy.

I have now been waiting for 1 hour 20 minutes (at the commencement of the call, I was 7th in the queue). I am still 2nd in the queue. All I want to ask is whether you have a particular product. I could have walked from home to Slade and back home at least 4 times by now. I cannot believe that every call is taking up to 15 minutes each. My enquiry should only take a couple of minutes. I have been reading all the reviews and it seems lengthy waits are frequent and doctors even have trouble getting medication quickly when they have patients with them.

I purchased a product this morning for my wife's chest cough. She took one tablet and then found that the instructions advised not to take the product if it was out of date. The Expiry Date was 11 May 2022 almost one year out of date. I called the pharmacy only to have the phone ring out six, yes six times, and they still haven't answered the phone. If at all possible avoid this place; their service is atrocious.

I was thoroughly impressed with the customer service that I had with Robbi the beauty specialist at Slade Pharmacy.Robbi's product knowledge and care was next level and I walked out feeling very well looked after. Highly recommend.

I post this review in the hope that management will add more staff and streamline their processes (although this seems unlikely, sadly, given the number of similar reviews here over the past year at least!).Yesterday I had an appointment at 4pm to pick up medication, staff called my name to start preparing it at 4:45, and I received it at 5:10. What is the point of going to the trouble to make an appointment with a customer if you don’t even look at the prescription in advance? It’s completely disrespectful of people’s time. The least you could do is notify customers that there will be a 45 min+ wait. Especially when you’re the designated pharmacy for some medical providers and you know you charge a premium.

Slades is always a delight but quite tricky to negotiate. Still you nearly always find what you need even if you’re constantly apologising for squeezing past others! Always worth checking out, esp if the shop has few other shoppers.

Worst pharmacy ever! Had to wait for 3 hours for script to be filled before I could take my husband home after surgery. They don’t care as they get all the business from the hospital.
