Nana's Teddies & Toys

Some toys are well priced and some are over priced, however the staff are awful. The woman asked us to put our masks on ( which I respect ) as her husband had cancer recently. So I can completely respect that. However, we had to hear her entire rant about what she’s been through during Covid, which was her husbands illness, along with bush fires and the floods. My grandmother gave her sympathy and said in response “ I understand. It has been hard for many. I just lost my husband, and my brother “. To our shock she spoke over her, again about how “ she needs a break the year has been too rough “. So my grandmother said it once again. And the owners response was “ I just can’t believe how bad my year has been “.SO RUDE! Your husband is alive and a woman just told you that she lost hers, AND her brother. Had we not have already just paid, we would have dropped the items and left.Thank you for leaving my grandmother in tears. Such a self centred rude owner, I hope no one shops there.

We found the owner a bit pedantic, however, I bought a few things for my great grandaughter.I do NOT think they are racist justbecause they sell ‘gollywogs’ a toy most of us grew up with in the 40’s and 50’s.I adored mine and carried it around till it fell apart - I also had a porcelain Geisha doll from Japan, a Hawaiian doll, a blonde blue eyed walking doll and a large Teddybear, plus a Blinky Bill Koala bear.We were taught that not everyone is the same and enjoyed the differences in our toys.My family come from English, Irish, Scottish and French backgrounds - I was teased mercilessly about my French Surname, which was hard, but have managed to grow up unscathed.Bit sick of the WOKE brigade taking offence at EVERYTHING and using the word racist randomly about anyone who isn’t black!!!!Get a grip - I am not a racist, never have been and never will be! Grew up with Aboriginals living not far awayetc., and got along with them as well as Italians, Greeks and various other ethnic groups.

After a Google search I became aware of Nana's Teddies & Toys.I made the purchase online/phone for my Mum, as she is aged in her 90's we are unable to visit in person. I found exactly what Mum wanted and it arrived so promptly! We are very happy with the purchase - especially Mum she is very pleased, it put a BIG smile on her face. Dave was very friendly and helpful with finalising the purchase. I hope to shop again soon. Thank you :)

Well lets just say that after my visit today at Nana's Teddies I dare say that I wont be back!!. Reason being that they are way over priced, you can buy elsewhere in most cases much cheaper an for the same thing. As I was looking at particular Padding bear for son yet I found it for $40 cheaper, and yes it was a authentic item compared to your asking price of $90. But however absolute huge range of teddies good store lay.

Travelled for over 2 hours to come into this store where we were greated by the most horrific, rude and ill mannered woman in our lives . We complied and wore masks which we respected as she overspoke us numerous amounts of times telling us her husband had cancer yet were followed around the store by her partner who has cancer and told to keep our masks over our faces. My wife and I both had our masks on covering our nostrils yet it was not good enough ! My wife suffers from a very rare heart condition and in herself is very unwell we came in to purchase a bear in remembrance of our baby of whom recently passed away yet walked out in disgust and empty handed ! Absolutely disgraceful!! If I could rate this store 0 stars that's what you would be getting ! Stay away !!!!

Absolutely fantastic range of bears etc , especially Charlie bears . Lady was very friendly and knowledgeable on all this bear related . If you need a bear , this is it . Added 2 more to my wife's collection.

Ne it inver been looked or spoken to the way ur son spoke to me n my 6yr old son it was disgusting the way you treated us as my son and I had medical and physical disabilities.. tell us to stand outside in 33° heat to choose stock from my phone after U were informed of medical conditions .. I hope U are never treated or spoken to this was your lucky I don't call up the disabilities and make a complaint.. just think next time what if that was my mum or family how would u like them treated well treat others the same .ur son wants to swear and walk off out back as I had emphysema really infront of a 6yr be old better teach ur son some respect.. I'll never forget the be experience as my worst ever shopping experience.

We were turned away as we didn’t have masks for our three children, even though both adults were wearing one. We are all fully immunised. Children don’t even have to wear masks in hospitals (I am a nurse) or even when we visit our doctor. How extreme. They were extremely rude! And lost A LOT of buisness. So don’t even go there!

Uneducated Hillbilly’s, who really need to read the literature that masks do more harm than good. It has been proven as fact numerous times.

Okay, so I'm a big kid at heart and soft toy's are my weakness, so it's safe to say I have been wanting to go to this store for a while. I finally get the opportunity to visit the store today and boy was that a mistake!My husband and I, literally got one foot in the door and we are approached by this women whom was utterly rude.No kind greetings just, YOU CAN'T COME IN HERE WITHOUT A MASK!"No explanation at all as to why we need to wear a mask.I'm sorry but you are not giving your business a good name with the way you are towards customers.And if you are adamant about people wearing masks...you should supply them! And politely explain to your customers as to wear masks are required in your store.IT'S NOT HARD TO GAVE PEOPLE THE RESPECT AND COURTESY THEY DESERVE!I have also read previous comments from the husband of this lady trying to defend her
