Well. I came, I saw, I conquered.I also had my butt kicked and handed to me on a platter.Wowser. Kokoda LEGACY was the gift that kept on giving.Firstly, I must have misread the info email. I thought it was 400m elevation over 30km.Nope. It was 1300m elevation in total.Secondly, I had an empty tank at 26km, with 4km still to go. That's when I hit King of the Mountain"

The hardest 13 hours of my life (including compared to childbirth) and as life changing!They lied about the distance but not about the incredible experience. No amount of training can prepare you for it.The volunteers are phenomenal and the entire event is so well managed. We were so well supported and encouraged.

My son and I did the remembrance challenge on the 12th of November - very tough 15k course in 30 Deg heat but we did it with literally no prep just pushed each other along. Love these events for the way they push you out of your comfort zone and allow you to achieve a great sense of accomplishment, bonding with peers, care for others and supporting worthy causes at the same time.Will be doing more events like this.Lest we forget.

I'm not going to lie I struggled alot at the Gold Coast 18 km but the mateship of my team helped and pushed me to endure as they sacrificed their energy to carry my bag as well, the organisers were on point and if I am physically able and do proper training I will do it again

competed twice (96km in 2021, 48km in 2022), both absolutely incredible experiences, would highly recommend. Absolutely incredible people at each checkpoint supporting the passing teams and finding the fun in the challenge, not to mention the incredible views and tracks.

I did this walk with a friend recovering from injury. The event was so well organized and the support team was fabulous. We had trouble and they helped us up some steep challenging hills, and though we didn’t finish it was still a win on our journey to recovery and we loved the opportunity to contribute to the amazing work the Kokoda youth program and Legacy does in the community.

Did the 48 (which actually turn out to be 53.5k lol). Had a fantastic experience. Tough. Especially the last 15-18k. Loved the vibe & atmosphere. Well coordinated. Friendly volunteers and staff.Would have been nice to know the coarse ran over before we started, but it all added to the challenge. And to be honest, I secretly enjoyed the added unknown.Will be back again!

We did the Sunshine Coast 18km Kokoda Challenge. What an amazing experience! VERY challenging course, but well worth it. It was the most well run charity event we have ever been involved in. We can't say enough good things about the Kokoda Challenge staff, volunteers & participants. If you want to be involved in something rewarding & challenging that helps others, do the Kokoda Challenge!

As challenging as the course was , the hills and mountain climbs , my team and I still managed to smile throughout the course. The organisers and support/volunteers staff were amazing. Definitely coming back again. The cause you doing these for a tribute to the amazing people you are . So much respect for you
