What a beautiful place to stay, big room, comfy bed, beautiful bathroom, big TV, air con amazing, fridge, mini bar, microwave, was awesomeGreat location with food next door or across the rd. And lovely staff.

Clean and tidy room, friendly staff, comfortable bed, hot shower.Thats all I needed.

My husband and I stayed at the Golden chain motor lodge on the 27/06/20 with our fur baby in tow. We were greeted warmly with good old fashioned service. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and plenty of room. The owners (Ken and Robyn) are constantly doing improvements and it shows that they care about the Motel and the people that stay there. Our dog was made to feel very welcome also. There is a country style well equipped camp kitchen, so we’re able to cook our own meal. Shower was good an hot plenty of hot water and good water pressure. I would highly recommend this establishment for any one travelling or going through Donald.

Neat, clean, air conditioned, spacious. We had to book 2 rooms, only a double and a single bed (there were 4 of us) which wasn't ideal. No cutlery or crockery which we thought a little strange for having a toaster and kitchen. Entertainment area was awesome. Pizza oven, 2 bbqs and heaps of seats. Nice also to sit outside each morning and evening while kids slept.

Stayed overnight for the New year's Eve. A beautiful lodge. The owner was really nice and helpful. Rooms were big and very clean. Loved it. Would recommend a quite walk around the suburb while staying here.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, excellent BBQ area beautiful breakfast and good location.
