Wanted a harmonic balancer for my 159, they asked $680, while it is supposed to cost $180-200. What they doing here is robbery.Never take your alfa there. They will make you regret for having an alfa.

I've always had positive experiences with the guys at The Italian Job. Had my Alfa 147 serviced there from 2007 to 2011 and it was the only place I was comfortable going to have a new one I was considering buying inspected prior to purchase.Couldn't agree more with Muhammet's comments re integrity and have also found they have been very honest with me when repairs are not 'essential' repairs. Beyond always doing a great job at a reasonable price, they also turned around a timing belt and thermostat replacement that should have taken some time given their workload in 36 hours. This saved me having to fly back to Sydney and come back down to pick the car up in a week or two.Sam and Charlie will also happily spare time for you on the phone to give advice, even though they aren't getting a dime for it.These are the reasons I still want to use these guys to service my Alfa and carry out repairs, even though I'm now based in Sydney. If you're in Melbourne and own an Italian car, make The Italian Job your first port of call.

Super-smart about Italian jobs! Very good at analyzing and fixing those pernickity problems only Italian cars can produce. Excellent attention to detail. Gut feel without external comparison is they are not cheap; happy to be corrected on this score.CORRECTION: Majority of reviews suggest that pricing at TIJA is fair. So, happy to accept this majority view.Key message is that in my 50 years of car ownership, TIJA provided the best overall service I've ever encountered.

Have used this place for about 40 years. Best place for all new and used Italian car parts. Charlie and Sam have all the knowledge. Parts are not cheap but you get good quality with full support.They also do repairs and warranty wort but not RWCS.
