AVOID - gross negligence from Dwell cost us over $20,000We engaged Dwell to undertake a building inspection on a 3br property prior to purchase. The day after settlement in March, 2023, we noticed a damp area of carpet in master bedroom, which, upon lifting, showed rotten wall from main water pipe leak in adjacent ensuite. Leak had obviously been occurring for a long time. We have had to tear down bedroom wall and bathroom wall, floor and wall tiling. GROSS NEGLIGENCE and complete INCOMPETENCE from someone calling himself a building inspector. This moisture should have been detected by anyone with his moisture meter turned on! Jason has made every excuse for his incompetence, with no offer to assist with our re-building costs. Has delayed us moving into our new home by weeks. We are now commencing legal action. Avoid our pain, and get a proper professional to undertake your building inspection.
