A simple hob switch job was left a complete mess. I had to clean up after them and repair a hole in the wall behind the oven. They also left holes in the cieling that I had to fix because mice were getting trapped in the wall and dying there.The hob switch was not even secured to the wall properly, so I now have a very high power switch that can easily fall out of the wall. As you can see, they also cut the hole too big a put another blank plate next to the switch.When I contacted the office, I was told that everything was done properly and I was accused of tampering with the switch.

Our experience with Loveday was amazing. From Stacey at admin to the boys coming out to carry works. The work was completed at a high standard and the boys cleaned up after themselves. We highly recommend them.

We firstly had Loveday Electrical wire our new home back in 2016. Such wonderful people. We recently had a secruity system installed and i would without hesitation recommend this company to everyone. They went above and beyond to make sure our system worked. Thank you all very much.

We are tenants in a home who's rental agency uses Loveday Electrical.Loveday Electrical first attended in May when the issue was that the oven was cutting out about 20mins after being on. The man that first attended broke the dial for hob while inspecting the panel and said there will need to be a part ordered to fix the switching off issue. He acknowledged that he had broken the knob and I assumed that they would correct their error and also order a replacement knob - I was wrong.While waiting for the part to arrive, the oven completely stopped working.After a good length of time, the part arrived and 2 men attended to complete the installation of this part. During this visit he installed the part upside down and noted that the grill/fan component was 180 degrees off and that they would need to look at getting another part and could either leave me in the meantime with this part installed 180 degrees off, or remove the part and leave me with no working oven again. After months with no oven, I opted for the 180 degrees option. But it seems the temperate dial is also off which was not explained. He then noted the clock was not working which it had been when he arrived that day to install the part. I understand this does not affect the use of the oven. On 2 separate visits, Loveday Electrical have broken 2 different parts of the oven and seem to be refusing to repair their mistake. It also seems like they are trying to make the Rental Agent think we broke these things.Now we have a burning smell when the oven is turned on. It is coming from the knob area of the oven, NOT the inside as the rude admin lady has made accusations of. I have checked inside, outside and this smell is definitely coming from inside the knob compartment near where the recent part was installed. I have had others confirm this smell is coming from the panel location NOT inside the oven. I cannot even see how something we have 'apparently' burnt has managed to work its way completely inside the knob panel.I have just called the real estate who have informed me that I have apparently mentioned to Loveday Electrical that I just want a new oven?????? WHAT!!! Not once was this said. They told me they were not the best ovens and I agreed.So unless you are after a company that will brake your item multiple times, deny responsibility of it and lie through the skins of their teeth... I would stay clear.
