The staff at GD's are friendly, lovely people.We enjoy visiting regularly to stock up on fresh fruit and veg and love their range of frozen meals especially when short of time, they are always delicious and an absolute favourite for our kids.Its so convenient that GD's is often open late and on weekends and many public holidays making the shop a really asset to the community, we love shopping at GD's and appreciate all the hard work the owners put into sourcing delicious fresh produce.

My favourite place to buy fruit and veg! The service here is so good, and I’m confident that everything I buy will have much more flavour than the major supermarkets. The fresh herbs are cheaper than coles and last a lot longer. The onions are crisp, not soggy. The carrots are crunchy.. it’s also a great place to find unique seasonal fruit varieties and other pantry goods. If you shop here and at your local butcher there is very little else you need to buy from a supermarket.

This place is a gem! So happy to have access to good, fresh food in my neighbourhood. Staff are always friendly and they seem to employ several local kids. Happy to support a community business that supports our community. Glad to hear that you're looking at plastic alternatives. It's hard to get away from plastic these days but at least we're headed in the right direction!

Fantastic hidden gem. For a small place it packs a punch with great produce and a significant variety of groceries. Open hours are great. With the general cost of living rising I find I get more for my dollar here especially veges.

Great range of high quality products. Friendly staff. Yes, they use a lot of plastic bags, but most of the products are not handled by everyone before you like the supermarket and the bags are recyclable when you do the rest of your shopping at the supermarket. They also stock non-plastic bags for household rubbish and other uses and cling wrap made from sugar cane. (Not sure if that can go in the green bin like the bags though.) In the current pandemic, they are happy to take email orders and deliver them to the back of your car when you ring to say you're in the car park.

Great variety of fruit and vegetables. Very fresh and good quality. A big thing for me is that they are now using biodegradable plastic bags for the produce. Big range of other quality items including dairy, smallgoods, frozen home made" meals and plenty of pantry items plus snacks and the things you run out of when you least expect it. Friendly staff and good value for money."
