Classic barber shop , prices are reasonable and you can get a shave with a straight blade razor . The crew are soccer mad so it's usually on the TV. Well worth going there.

Thommo just knows how to cut hair to perfection. Been going there for so long I've lost count of the years. Real Barber Shop feel. Sports on the TV, friendly conversation and a simple first come, first serve system. Gets busy at times, obviously, as the cuts are great and most people are happy to wait.Update: Harry is an awesome addition to the team. He is consistent, precise and is happy to try whatever customers request. It's been so many years that I've been going here and I'm hoping for many more.

I recently went to Thommo's Barber when I couldn't get in anywhere else with the intention of it being a one off visit. Thommo was very welcoming and polite to myself and every customer I saw him interact with. He gave me the best cut I've had and his prices are great. This will be my new regular barber. I'd highly recommended anyone looking for a great cut to visit Thommo's Barber

Been a regular for a couple of years. All the barbers at Thommo's have consistently done an outstanding job with the limited options presented with my noggin. 5 stars is just for the good haircuts and exemplary conduct. I'd add a bonus star for the love of sports, they're mad for it at Thommo's.

Best barber in the Hunter! The Hubby has tried countless barbers in the region but none compare to Thommos. Great prices, even better haircuts, easy parking, walk ins, & they even have soccer on the tv!

Had the pleasure of stumbling across 'Thommo's' a few weeks ago. This timeless barbershop really stands out (in a good way) over a sea of music pumping, fast cut pushing, inexperienced barbers in and around Newcastle. With the weekends football being re-run from the weekend, barbers attire, classic backdrop and black and white floor tiles symbolic of the 1920's art deco period, Thommo's provides a space to take a breath from the hustle of daily life and just enjoy a cut with good conversation in a relaxed atmosphere. The haircut was well done and the price matched accordingly. Recommend and will definitely be back.
