Surf Camp Australia

I did the 5 day surf camp and I would 100% recommend the experience! In just a couple of days, the instructors gave us a full surfing bootcamp that allowed us to feel comfortable with the board and be ready for the “big scary world out there”.Everyone working/volunteering there is really friendly and you get the chance to meet people within your group. It was a week that left me very sore, full of laughter and with a new skill that I hope to practice again soon!I would recommend doing the 5 day camp if you can, then you get to practice more and get to the green waves at the back! :)Do bring a sweater/light jacket just in case! A forgot to bring one and we had a couple of rainy days so it was fresh in the morning and at night.

I've been to a surfweekend, had 3 times a two hour class and it was amazing! The group was very big, around 90 people, but because they separated the group into 4 smaller groups you didn't notice how big the group was when you where surfing. Every group had three instructors who explained the technic of surfing but also how to know if the waves are good when you want to go out by yourself. One of my instructors were Chico, Tom one other one who's name I forgot, but they were amazing. After the three lessons I wasn't able to get up all the time but I definitly feel confident enough to get out en practise some more by myself, or I might even come back to do another surfcamp to get better. The beach is huge and there are almost no people so plenty of room to surf, although they keep everybody close together, I guess for safety.The accommodation isn't very big or luxurious but you have a bed and there is plenty room to hang in between surfing. The vibe is really chill and relaxing. The food was simple but really good. I had an amazing time and if you want to learn how to surf I deffinitly recommend to go to this surfcamp!!!

Incredible experience! The surf instructors were super helpful and made sure you were able to successfully surf by the end. Also super fun community partying and hanging out for meals/games in between surfing with the instructors and others in the camp!

Loved this experience! While in Aus I thought I’d properly try learn to surf and heard this was a great way to do it and I 100% confirm it is! I just did the 3 day as I worried i wasn’t fit enough for the 5 day and I think I’m right as it was exhauuusting ! The staff were so fun and lovely, the instructors were really helpful during sessions and were encouraging even when the conditions were rubbish during my time there, and the camp itself was great! Great atmosphere, food was amazing, and the area was good too (beach nearby, bar not too far walk away).

Went with couple of friends and got one of the best week of my life, the vibes around this place are amazing and all the people from the staff are so welcoming and well trained.Seven miles can offer one of the best condition I’ve ever faced as surfer.Go!

If I could give 0 stars I would have done so.Money thrown away from the first penny to the last.As soon as we arrived we went to the camp with minibuses with a scary and dangerous driving to say the least, the two drivers started racing on unsafe roads, not caring that no one was wearing seatbelts and one person was sitting on the ground.Arriving at the camp expectations were not very high for sure, in fact the rooms were pitiful to say the least, dirty, full of dead insects in the cupboards and on the ground (cockroaches and spiders) and hair on the sheets.The food was of poor quality and dishes and cutlery were washed superficially and left outside all day.The bathrooms are unisex and not enough for 90 people, not to mention the broken or malfunctioning sinks.Let's move on to surfing... 1 instructor for 10 people and an introduction to surfing by score, given the basics in a superficial way we moved on to surfing with wetsuits that smelled musty, wet, cold, left outside all day and in some cases with spiders inside.Finally, some photos taken with GoPro are promised and viewed, which you will either not receive 100% or will receive late.After trying 2 times to contact the surf camp and request some photos in particular, I never got a reply in 1 month, non-existent customer service.I would not recommend this surf camp to anyone. SUPERFICIALITY taken to the extreme.

I did the 5 day surf course and LOVED it. It was so easy to make friends, the vibe was amazing, the food was really good as well, even for vegans and veggies & the surf lessons were so much fun!

Highly recommend this surf camp. We were a group of beginner, intermediate and few advanced surfer and the classes were suitable for every level of experience. Really great coaches that know exactly how to help and improve your surfing. The camp location is close to the beach and it’s a great spirit.Definitely coming back!Thank you team for this great experience.

Unbelievable weekend surf camp. Awesome location close to the beach, super friendly staff. Great food and atmosphere in the surf camp at all times. Shoutout to our surf instructor, Chico, he was amazing and a good laugh, helped us all to get standing quickly. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn to surf in a safe and fun environment.
