The Pelican Shed

Our trip was book and then rebooked due to COVID travel restrictions and the hosts we so receptive and helpful. We loved this house, its location close to beautiful beach and cliff walks. The garden was also lovely and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. Leann, Janette and Anne-Marie

We stayed here 3 years ago and very much loved our stay. The house was immaculate, warm and cosy. Just beautiful!

Fantastic place to stay in Robe! Perfect for family or friends, we were provided with local knowledge on what to do and see which was great! The beach is right around the corner and town is not much further, couldn't have asked for better! I know where we'll be staying from now on.

Very good accommodation, very helpful owners, clean and welcoming. Short walk to the beach, but a drive to shops etc. Nice and quiet. Only suggestion would be for some spare towels.

We stayed at the Pelican Shed earlier this year, and initially found the look and the location especially of the accommodation appealing. Communication was good.Please be aware that it is charged on a sliding scale per person, so what initially seemed great value ended up being one of the most expensive options. But by then we had already sent it around to the group and couldn’t back out.The main living area is great, and the location is close to the beach.The toilets are located directly opposite the bedrooms, so you will wake up and hear whenever someone uses them. The heating is also either all or nothing, so we spent most of a week uncomfortable.When we checked out we did a clean, as a show of thanks and respect for the host. We were thus very surprised to get a significant additional bill for cleaning!! This was sent after the Airbnb period for posting a review had expired, so we weren’t able to post in there. I suspect this was on purpose.Overall, a badly negative experience. There are so many accommodation options in Robe, please be cautious and book something else.

What a wonderful well appointed home. From the time you walk in with heater on, music playing, pantry supplies to get you going and a lovely personalised note there is nothing to fault. Beds were fantastic, couches comfortable and all the mod cons you need. Perfectly positioned for lots of relaxing strolls along the beach or cliff tops. The cafe recommendations were spot on, nothing really to fault. Thoroughly recommended.

Light filled house with birds in the bushes surrounding, quiet , private, clean, comfy bed & couches & walk to the beach and walk into Robe

the Pelican Shed was ideally placed for great beach walks and walking in to Robe. It was a lovely light filled house that felt warm and welcoming and had everything you could need for a great stay. There was just the two of us but there was plenty of room to have families stay there. We had a fantastic time exploring this great region and would love to do it all again.
