One of my favourite short walks in the Greater Hobart area. I just hope the construction of a golf course doesn’t stuff it up for the non-golfing majority.

Quiet bay in south arm, great view if it is sunny. Suitable for walking, be carefu with wild animal's droppings.

A little off the beaten track, but worth a wander across. At the moment the space is quite barren, but the undulating hills are worth strolling across. A few little plaques to give some backstory, and the path is a little rough, but it's worth it for the peace and serenity.

Gellibrand Point Nature Recreation Area
Ended a long run up the South Arm at this reserve. You get great views up the River towards Hobart and a good perspective of the Eastern Shore. It is bare and exposed so expect it to be windy.
